How long would it take to get muscle working out?

Ok, this summer I really wanted to gain some muscle since I lost 80 lbs last year and am a toothpick. I was going to sign up for a gym and workout, problem is I'm going on vacation from June 29th to July 12th and dont' want to sign up for june to pay an extra $30 for just a week. Just wondering how long it would take me to build muscle (average muscle, I don't want to look big) get a six pack (want to get rid of loose skin, doesn't have to be six pack just don't want loose skin sagging) I heard 6 weeks is this true? Also do most gyms charge for a personal trainer? I'm just turned 17, am 6'2" 180lbs for those who want to ask. Have loose skin on my stomach/love handles and man boobs that cardio won't get rid of. I bought a bench but it doesn't help because I probably don't do proper technique and don't know what other exercises to do. Thanks. (Don't want to use any supplements)

Nobody can't tell you how long it will take you to get to your goals. It all depends on how disciplined you are, among other things. Just get in the gym, talk to a trainer to learn the basics...and get to work.

Most important thing you must do = get your diet in check. You can do all the training you want, if your diet sucks, you won't be seeing that 6-pack any time soon.

I highly agree with him. The best thing you can do for yourself is to start reading and educate yourself in the areas of bodybuilding/health nutrition and so forth.

My diet when I'm on it isn't that bad, it's just I don't have enough calories. What do you think the average time would be though?

"diet isnt that bad" = okay, not so good results.

"diet is really good" = awesome results.

See the difference?

Average time for what? to gain muscle mass and lose your 'loose' skin? I'm sorry that we elitefitness bros cant specify an exact date and time where you'll be happy with your physique or achieving your goals. It may take you 6 weeks, or 10 years bro.

I just want some muscle and to look average, would 6 weeks do that? Basically turn the man boobs into pecs and stomach into a 6 pack

How long does it take to get a great body?

The exact amount of time it takes not to.

Good diet, good training, rest... If you set your goal, you can get some results done in 12 weeks...
Dedication, I found, is the most important key...
You can get some good advice in Training forum. Get some good routines.
Anabolic discussion forum is not going to be the right way to go to find out about info you are looking for...
Good luck.
Three years ago I was 125-128 lbs @ 5'10"... Now at about 180, 5% bf... Most of the results I achieved withing first year or two... With limited supplements - creatine, prohormones (wouldn't advice the second - had bad experience with overdoing them, but it was my bad).

Average??? How below average do you currently look?

Sorry Bro... but the questions you're asking us seem very 'quick fix' in nature. Most people that are here, are here because they're NOT happy with being average. Having a good body takes a(long term)commitment to several components:
1.) Exercise; get on someone's program that can work for you.
2.) Nutrition
3.) Sleep; your body doesn't grow in the gym... it grows when you're in bed.
4.) Suplements & Drugs; IMO- this should be of LEAST importance to you. Get the other 3 elements on point first, then think about this.
