How imortant is it for the US to get Bin Laden??

Sept 14th all we wanted was for the Taliban to give up Bin Laden. That is all we asked of them. Give us Bin Laden and we will leave you alone. They would not and we invaded and kicked the shit out of the Taliban. Now we are giving up on getting him at all and even saying it isnt necessary for us to get him.

It seems like every time Bin Laden attacks the US, like the USS Cole, we get pissed, fuck up some people, cant find him and give up.

Then next time he fucks us up worse.

On 9/11, the #1 enemy was OBL, then the Taliban, then the "Axis of Evil," then all the teenagers smoking pot that "supported terrorism."

I swear Osama Bin Laden almost seems like a boogieman the US govt uses to attract attention, or establish support. The first time I heard of him was when Bill Clintons blowjob testimony was published.

Then the Cole was attacked and OBL was the next Hitler. If he was so important and responsible for so much shit, then why hadnt I heard anything about him before the nation found out Clinton lied about getting his dick sucked?

If OBL is responsible for all the attacks, and as bad as the US says he is then we are ignorant for giving up on finding him and we are going to get attacked again.

Either that or OBL is just an easy, superficial justification for the US to do what it wants.

IMO i think we wont find him. what we dont really realize is that this dude who is effectively setting up a chain of event sto cripple the US economy isnt stupid himself. No one in the history of our nation has done what hes done and got away with it. hes an asshole, but we probably wont find him (which I think is important)

My opinion is:

If Bin Laden is killed, it will make absolutely no difference whatsoever.

If Saddam Hussein is killed, It will make no difference whatsoever.
