never done a glute shot and doing one tonight...if your in the right quadrant can you come anywhere close to it....just looking for some info on how dumb you have to be to mess this up?
how hard is it to hit sciatic nerve?

I've never had a problem with it but I don't think it would be very easy if you use a long pin and have no butt. I would usually aim a little high on the glute, and about 40-45 degrees out from middle if that is even able to be visualized. And, no, not visualizing my butt.

Never had a problem and i do glutes once a week. I just hit the upper outside and stay far away from that area totally.
Never had a problem and been doing it for years.
I'm a thigh man....But, make sure you aim high and toward the hip.

so higher then the tailbone and all the way over 90 degrees to the back or 90 degree to the side of your ass cheek
Everyone's sciatic is within a few inches of the ass crack - just stay away from there - at first it will seem odd to inject where you're supposed to. Almost like your hitting too high on your hip but's it's OK. In any case use a 1.5" needle and leave a good 0.25" out so if you do hit the sciatic and the needle snaps you can at least pull the needle out.
