How Do You Rationalize TO Yourself Doing Gear Being it is Illegal and All?

Here is how I rationalize it. Because I don't think it(gear) should have been made illegal in the first place.
I think the govt made it illegal(against the AMA's advice) because of sports. They probably don't mind bodybuilding aspect of steroids but they did no t want people using gear as an edge in sports. So to contain the problem they thought it would be better just to outlaw it totally and blame bogus medical problems as the reason instead of sports misuse.

So since I do not play sports, I don't think I am hurting anybody. Therefor the law doesn't apply to me because I don't use gear as an edge in sports.

Here's the reason they made it illegal: The more illegal drugs--the more jobs associated with the PERSUCUTION of illegal drug users there will be. I.E cops, prosecutors, defense counselours, judges, bailiffs, wardens, contractors to build prisons, construction workers building them, prison guards, prison nurses, etc. Its all about MONEY bro, and THAT is why the government continues the whole "drug war" disaster. You end the drug war, or start to make some drugs legal--the more jobs you cut--the more tax dollars you lose. Now...How do I justify my useage...I do it because I want to & it makes me feel better about myself. Im not hurting anyone & if anyone doesn't like what I do because they do not understand it well...I have neither the time, nor am I inclined to WASTE my time explaining myself to narrow minded individuals who fail to see that there is a world outside of the one that THEY are living in!!! FUCK THEM.

Lets see ive got 2 freinds that drink alchohol EVERYDAY there attitudes are piss poor and they live every day llike its the last....

all my other freinds are on drugs like crystal and X and smoke....

i dont drink unless its a special occasion, i dont smoke weed but maybe once a month...and i dont do any hard drugs.....

so for anyone to think they are better than me because they dont do roids is blind...to there own world....

Personally I dont have to rationalize anything. AFter all, gear is not illegal in every country, it just so happens that it is in the cough, choke cough...land of the free, yea right! I dont base my moral decisions on the imposed laws by our fucked up government. I base them on weather I am harming anyone else etc. and in the case of AAS im not hurting anyone, not even myself, so im my mind I have nothing to justify. Anyone who blindly relies on thier government or even thier god to tell them what is right or wrong needs help.

God, wen he made this world knew damn well its capabilities. We are supposed to try to be the best humans we can, not only mentally and morally, but in our physical worlds as well. if you think testosterone is the work of the devil, ur a moron, cuz only God can create. i'm just tryin to do this so i can better myself. we cant be perfect, but we can try to be as close to it as possible.

God is a realative term and just because you believe in god does not make you better than someone who does not. It does not take a beliefe in a higher power to be a good person and someone who has morals. Also keep in mind that the christian god is not the only god that is believed in. The thrust of my comment is that it should not take another being, person or power to tell you what is right and wrong, if you are a good person, you will be a good person regardless of those things, not because of them.

While I believe money is one of the reasons gear is illegal I still think high school football is a major contributing factor on why steroids were made illegal. The congressmen were taking so much heat from crazy high school football constituents complaining that the other teams were cheating by using gear they decided to appease them classifying them as a class 3 drug. The reason I say this is because I read about it on the Steroids and the Law site.
