Let's start with legally.
We must obey the law and abide by countries regulations. Well let's see. The first black lady to sit on the wrong seat on a bus. Women being stoned to death for cheating on their husbands (well that may be okay). Prohibition. Shall I continue. Although you must obey the law of your land you should also do what you feel is right and I feel that sometimes that is more important then doing what the government feels is right. Especially when the laws are made for the wrong reason. (IOC, NCAA, WADA - these are the only supporters of this law.)
Okay now morally.
God says we must treat our bodies as a temple. If we use the brains which God gave us as well as our common sense, then I feel I am treating my body as a temple. And as for those who critisize, well should smoking, drinking, as well as hamburgers be outlawed. Because we all know that they are all addictive and are all harmful to your health if you overindulge continually. And back to legally - if it was removed from the controlled substance list an put back into the doctors hands than they would be more studied and safer.
Okay, now onto sports.
Solving the cheating problem. Yeah, it is definately working. 90% of all NFL football players have or do. 70% of all baseball players. 90% of all olympic track and field and on and on. Until the testing methods are 100% acurate and all atheletes are tested not only is it wrong to test but also a violation of civil rights. Let's say 3rd place at an olympic track meet gets tested and fails. The next day they find out and give the medal to 4th place who was not tested. Is that fair or do you test him at that time - which is probably 2 days later - hence 2 days clearance time. The best one is banning THC - yeah that was a good one. They did that because it was easier to test for and yeah fucking Ha they caught a snowboarder.
Damn, you guys had to get me started on that one. I am not even done yet but I will stop for now.
