How do you guys gain mass?

I've been looking for the right calorie intake to allow muscle growth without gaining fat. It's just not working. I pretty much stay the same size. When you're on a mass cycle do you guys just eat a hell of a lot of food and not worry about gaining fat or have you found the magical formula for gaining nothing but lean weight?
 
Count your calories and eat a ton at first. Take in 4500 calories for a couple weeks and see if you start gaining fat, if so drop down in 500 calorie increments until you stop gaining fat. Every person is different.

Take those calories as clean as possible. Keep fat intake as low as possible. Maybe try taking a Mass protein shake, Like Myoplex Mass. I drink 2 a day while bulking, and eat like hell.
 
I eat as much as possible when trying to gain mass and worry about the fat when it's time to cut. It works out well because I'm usually bulking in the fall/winter and cutting in the spring. Summer - maintain, slow/steady gains

I'm taking in over 4500 calories per day and I'm still losing fat while gaining muscle. But, for the most part, they are pretty clean. Good protiens, good fats, good carbs. I have my junk meal every week (Carl's Jr Dbl Western Bacon Cheeseburger) and that's about it. But, you'll certainly have to experiment to find your "dietary equilibrium".

I'd bump your cals up 1000 and see where that takes you.

The goal is to gain muscle without gaining fat bro...why do you ask?
