How do you deal with a crazy person?

Some of you may recall my upstairs neighbor/tenant who's a menace.
She is 70 something and causes a lot of trouble. She used to make noise at all hours and throw bread into my pool etc.
The list of the crazy things she's done goes......

Two weeks ago I was outside planting flowers and she asked me to move my summer chairs off the front balcony so she could pass with her bike. With my chairs there she has about 5 ft of room to pass
As she was bitching, she walked up the stairs with her bike and had no trouble passing. I was nice about it and said "but you just passed with no trouble?"

NOWWWWWWWWWWWW... something just happened 30 mins ago and this time I'm FUMING!
I was just putting my garbage in the front of the house and she pulls up on her bike and says "why do you have to block my path with all your garbage"
I ignored her
Then she said "is this all your garbage, that is a lot of garbage for one person"

I LOST IT, I got right in her face and said "I've had enough of you and your complaints, For 4 yrs all you've ever done is complain and make trouble. Shut your fucking mouth"

and I walk away

She says "Your mind is so young to be crazy. Look at my legs (she shows me her 70 yr old chicken legs), I have 12 bruises all from trying to get my bike past your chairs". She was screaming all this!
They are little plastic chairs on my balcony by the way.

OH MAN...I went back into her face and yelled some more shit and said "You have about 12 ft to pass with your bike. You're not well lady and seriously, just shut up"

Another neighbor was standing there looking at her and me and comes up to me and said "what's her problem"

I was LIVID and shaking mad!

I walk up my stairs and I say to her "you're more than welcome to move out since you hate me and living here so much. I will tear up your lease"

She screams in my face "Go fuck yourself, go fuck yourself, I will move when I say not when YOU say"

She slammmed her front door twice and has been throwing shit and banging for the last 30 mins

Should I call the cops or cool down and ignore this?
By the way, this NUT knows I'm ill and I'm home today sick.
I fucking HATE this person!

One girl had a child with C Palsy and the peeps upstairs from her would blast their music all night, roll around on chairs and do laundry at all hours.

She asked them nicely to be quiet a few times, then I had to get involved. When I approached the guy, he came to the door in a thong and yelled in my face. I kept my cool and he kept yelling.
I then told him I was going to take him to the rental board if he did not comply and he slammed the door in my face
That same night I was having a bbq/pool supper with guests and his mom came to my back yard and banged on my gate screaming "LET ME IN LET ME IN YOU BITCH"
All my guests were like "jen I think she means you"...haha!
Anway, his 81 yr old Mother came to yell at me about how rude I was to her son
Then as she walked away, she fainted.
OYEEEEEEEEEE!

I had another tenant go to punch me in the face. He was coming back to get stuff and I refused to let him in. He had not paid his rent in 3 months and was evicted. He was also arrested 3 times for punching his wife.
So he came at me, I ducked and he hit the wall behind me. Good thing my ex was with me. They went at it
This guy was a 6'2. 300 black dude.
The world is NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!

And no I didn't rent to these awful people, they came with the house

We gave notice to a tenant last month that her month to month tenancy was terminated. We tried to called her to tell her that the plumbing would have to shut off because the water tank had a crack that burst at 2am and would have to be replaced but she wouldn't pick up the phone. It was mid week and unfortunately her day off so we went to the house to tell her in person but she would not answer the door (she was home).

When we got home she left a nasty message and that we not only harassing but putting her out on her day off. My usually better half snapped went back to the house and banged on the door while screaming at her and telling her in no certain what he thought of her. She called the police on him saying her was harassing her.

She is a crazy anti social bitch who has in two years chased out 4 housemates - 2 had actually said they were afraid to be home alone with her.

Long story short the cop getting involved was the best thing to happen. He told her simply that we trying to tell her that she would have no water and being that it was an emergency call that there was no way anyone was purposely trying to ruin her day off. While he was there we gave her written notice to vacate and 30 days later the headache is gone. You don't really know how bad it is until that thorn is out of your side.

I don't what your lease is like but you need to sit down with a lawyer and find out how you can legally get her out. I would though start now and file a complaint against her with the police every single time she acts up so you can have a paper trail.

Ok, so this mornning around 9:30 am, the nutjob from upstairs walked right into my house and called my name out. I jump up and she's standing in my kitchen, She walked in through my opened back door (I leave it open for my cats) and right into my house.

I asked her "what are you doing in my house"
She says "I think we need to talk"
I said "fine, have a seat"

She wants to "make peace" She told me her entire family is afraid to come here to visit her b/c they are scared I will attack them physically..


As if! I'm the most docile person alive

Then she tells me when she goes to the grocery store, that people she doesn't even know come up to her and say "Carmine, Blue is crazy and you need to be careful around her. She can hurt you"



I laughed and said "you're making this up" She then tells me the woman down the street with the dog is the one who said this.
The woman down the street with the dog is one of my best friends who does not even shop at a grocery store and would never even talk to this nut

She comes to make peace and lies to my face.
Anyway, She admitted she made noise on purpose to harrass me and did the whole "move the garbage" to start a fight

She says "When you yelled at me, I was about to punch you in the face. I was so mad when I went in my house after that I wanted to ring your bell and when you would answer, I would have hit you right in your face"

That was actually my first thought. I was laying on the couch, with a tank top and my undies on and she walks right in.
I can't even imagine walking into a persons house. I have a phone and a front door with a bell and everything, but she's too nuts to use it

Ok, so this mornning around 9:30 am, the nutjob from upstairs walked right into my house and called my name out. I jump up and she's standing in my kitchen, She walked in through my opened back door (I leave it open for my cats) and right into my house.

I asked her "what are you doing in my house"
She says "I think we need to talk"
I said "fine, have a seat"

She wants to "make peace" She told me her entire family is afraid to come here to visit her b/c they are scared I will attack them physically..

If I were you, I would file a restraining order against the woman because based on what you posted above, I wouldnt put it past her to actually do you physical harm, then blame it on you.

I actually thought of that and I can see she "plays" crazy. She must have mentioned to me yesterday about 4 times that her age makes her forget stuff and makes her scared.
