How Did It Get Decided that Women Get Half in a Divorce when the court is ran by men?

I just don't get it. I understand a chick that has been married to a dude for a long time should get some compensation but half? It don't seem right. I mean if she worked and brought home money then she should be entitled to more. But if she just cooks and cleans shouldn't she just be paid like a maid salary for those months? I mean she got free room and board, clothes, vacations and everything else and now they get half for making some dinners and doing the laundry?

I mean why would men let that law go into effect in the first place. I mean it seems like some chick has got some polititians and law makers by the balls. You can tell one thing who ever made those laws were thinking with the wrong head.

Hell I know women who ADMIT that they went back to work because it IS EASIER than staying home with children and essentially being "at work" 24/7.

I have no problem with women getting half of everything. Women pull at least half the weight, so they are entitled to half the assets. What I do think is wrong is when a woman cheats, and she still gets half of everything. In my opinion, if you go outside the marriage, you forfeit all rights to your half. You should still get some, but not 50%.

Hmm , man you are gonna make one interesting mod , but to answer your question I agree almost wholeheartedly , you are referring to the Anna Nicole Smiths of this world and the divorcee of Revlon who never cooked,cleaned or did any of that crap. They oughta get nada I think , the women who played an active part in the marraige ,helped bring up their kids properly and DID NOT CHEAT (if so - nothing) should get a decent sum , even half , actually prolly more than half since it was obviously the other guy'S fault that they broke up.

So hopefully after saying that bikini mom won't be quite as pissed at me as she was earlier. I guess I just had very bad morning with the ole lady and of course she always blames steroids for when I get mad about the house not being clean and that pisses off even more. I feel so bad because this moring there was car going 60 in the middle lane so I yellling at them you know and then when I get beside them fixing to them the "look" turns out to be a NUN. Sometimes it just doesn't pay to get out of bed.
