Back in the day we had a guy in the gym that bragged about spending $50k/year on AS/GH etc... so, 1 day a gay member of our gym spots him in a gay strip club dancing (i.e. stripper). He took a few pics etc., so now you know how some pay for it.

Mr X is being conservative. I won't be. The entire sport is run by wealthy gays so don't think for a second it doesn't directly effect the entire sport. I know of a certain fitness magazine editor that would gladly exchange $$$ for sexual favors from top BB's. He used to call me up nightly wanting to talk shop about bodybuilding. At the time I thought he was talking to me cuz he wanted to sponsor me and/or put me in his magazine. After awhile I realized he was jerking off almost every time we were on the phone. He was doing the same thing with a few other guys I competed against locally too.

Also, don't let Joe Weider's arranged marriage fool you-he's as queer as a 3 dollar bill. Before M&F he published Muscle Builder Magazine-but before that-gay porn mags. No bullshit. Listen to him in Pumping Iron while he's taking pics of Arnold-he even sounds like a fruit loop.
