my research on doctor prescribed test starts today so yes I am going to read up on it.

the normal range is 9.0-27.0 in Canadian numbers and mine came in at 2.
around here the docs get all freaked out about giving you testosterone and I'm not sure why.

what are the negative side effects or is it just the cost or hassle of going in for weekly shots?

I want my test to be 27.0 not fucking 2.0 yah know?

propaganda. a lot of time and money has been put into creating the image that steroids are evil. Doctors are just as swayed by such propaganda.

Thats what I was gonna say!

agreed...

because most doctors are ignorant about steroids and fueled by lies put out by the media..........

they'll be happy to give you a corticosteroid shot or prescribe you prednisone. Those are the GOOD steroids, not the ones that make you kill your wife.

the only doc I saw here was more than happy to shoot me up weekly.. but we agreed that on a cost basis it would make morse sense to take care of it myself & he would do bloodwork.

Yep… Most docs are very uneducated on the practical and beneficial application of AAS in the “Mature” male. In the US we have “Anti Ageing Clinics” with docs who have no issue prescribing what ever is needed.. Anything of that sort in Canada??

what does did he think was good?

my doc only prescribes Andriol <- useless

That's not the whole story. They are afraid of prostate cancer. If a person has undiagnosed prostate cancer testosterone supplementation will cause a slow growing undetectable cancer to be a fast growing metastasizing cancer.

The first rule of medicine, Do no harm.

Exactly.

They are also concerned about losing their license, being prosecuted with the possibility of jail and fines, and being sued.

If you are thinking about HRT and want to be more well read, search through the Longevity forum. You can easily create your own program if you want.

wtf is the point of becoming and endocrinologist if you're still going to be uneducated.

i am on the verge of 30 and my doc wanted to do the full body scan for gh and bloodwork for test now. he said whenever i am ready he will work with me but will not do anything if the body scan shows any "hot spots" and if my bloodwork is ok. the minute those things show i can use assistance he is on board.

i think some of you guys need to look for better doctors who have open minds and are educated on the hrt topic.

What are "hot spots" ? im considering TRT as my T level is at 140 on the first test then 5 days later and other blood test was done and it ended up comin back 266. Im 30, have nvr taken steroids dont know why its soo low. My doc hasnt said anything about a body scan ??? He is ready to put me on test cyp whenever I am.

Thanks

You will likely be lucky to get a doc to put you in the middle normal range anyway, your best bet is to seek out a TRT specialist. Normal docs dont treat for symptoms of low test, they treat for lab range.

Because hormone imbalances are very misunderstood in the general medical community, and there is VERY little education on that in medical school. The pharmaceutical industry rules the medical field, sadly, and it's a big moneymaker to let people live on with hormone problems, which they then treat with expensive blood pressure pills, or ED pills, or even cocktails of drugs to counteract symptoms of hormone imbalances or deficiencies. Imagine the economic destruction that would take place, if everyone had their hormones balanced perfectly, and the need for obesity-related disease treatments, and weight loss programs were no longer needed? Scary isn't it!
