How can i preserve muscle whilst recovering from Gyno op?

I have made good gains doing 5x5 workout for 9 weeks.
My question is how do i eat to preserve muscle and keep fat loss minimal for the 5/6 weeks i'd take to recover?

I will continue to lift heavy til my op on June 6th but i will be quite inactive from what i've read post op.

Should i keep my calories steady?

Any help appreciated.

Weight: approx 200lbs
Supplements: Protein and finishing creatine cycle this week
 
Keep the protein, essential fatty acids, and vitamins and minerals high. I would be careful about the carbs though, seeing as you are not going to need a tonne as exercise will be reduced. It depends on things like somatatype though
