I'd say it's pretty obvious that this new feauture which has all acronyms spelled out is a royal monkey fuck. It messes up the flow of what's being said.

How about someone volunteering to made a comprehensive list of drug abreviations and make it a STICKY. Give him or her some K for doing so. In this way all newbies have a way of finding the information they need and everyone else doesn't have to be annoyed,

good idea Nelson, some one could facilitate the process and everyone could feed their input through them. Also meso has a great feature...you know when you go their and type in...ex. prop it is underlined and linked to a drug profile

I do find myself becoming averse to reading posts with the expansions in.

George said there'd be an option to turn it off at some stage. I'm aquiver with anticipation.

I offered the suggestion that it shouldn't apply to edits. At least then the discerning poster could take them out and it would also stop the duplicate expansions that arise from a post edit.

The new feature is annoying and useless. I'm a newb and it only took a few minutes of reading or a quick google search to find out what all the acronyms mean.

Wanna know what H C G means? Google "h c g steroids"... boom, you got it.

Why don't we just start a thread so everybody can contribute, and when we're all satisfied then one person can post it in a single thread and sticky it.
I doubt one person would be able to cover them all, there's just too many.
