How about the gay marriage bans!?!?!

I heard gays are much higher. That is why it is a joke. Just think about it for a moment. The only thing that keeps hetro dudes from screwing every goodlooking chick they see is women have to be in the mood. Well guys don't we are always horny. So you can see why gay dudes do it all the time because there is no one(the woman) to say no.

Oh my! :lmao: This is the post of the day IMHO. :D

Maybe gay guys are really gay due to women never being in the mood? IT'S EVOLUTION IN MOTION PEOPLE! THE MALE HUMAN RACE IS JUST EVOLVING PAST THE FEMALE SEXUAL ROAD BLOCKS! :D

Man I love your posts Curling, keep up the good work. K for you. :)

Being a Gay man, I would like to put my input into this topic. Here in the state of Georgia, it too was on the ballot. It passed here as well, thats unfortunate. The only reason it passed here was because of they way it was worded on the ballot. Most people here did not even know that there was a second part to this Admendment. They didn't want it to be known that what they were actually voting on was the ban of All Civil Unions. Not just Homosexual, but also heterosexual. It will not recognize any union other than that of a man and a woman. No matter if it is recognized in another part of the world.
Here in Georgia we have some kind of law that prohibits a law that has more than one meaning ( I can not remember how it actually reads). For that reason alone it will be going to the courts to have it overturned. At least that it we are hoping for.
In my eyes, I personally dont want to Marry. I do however think that we should have the right to a Civil Union. It will allow us the rights that ALL heterosexual Married Cuoples get. I have been in my relationship for nearly 7 years. We had our Ceremony in 2000. We own a beautiful home, pay enormous taxes. We even have to pay school tax. Which I think isn't right, especially since we cannot have childeren. Sure we could adopt, but that isn't easy. So if I have to pay all the same stuff that married people do, then I deserve the right to have a Law that gives me the same rights as Married Couples. Do you know that if either one of the person in a relationship should get sick and enter the hospital, that by law they do not have to let the other partner in the room to see him or her. All because we are not related or Married. There are over 200 laws that protect Married couple. We should be allowed the same. Its not up to the masses to decide if its right or wrong. That is an issue between that person and God. If we go around saying its wrong because it says so in the Bible. Then my friends there are far more sinners in this world, than Homosexuals.

While I think your thread on BTS recently stating that most men were bi-curious is absolutely rediculous, you have raised some very valid points in this post.

I find it amazing that a gay couple, who have no intention of adopting have to pay a school tax, yet they will not even recognize your union.

The point about sinners is valid. Homosexuality being a sin was part of the torah... and I know many Christians who claim homosexuals will burn in hell, and who say they must be banned, who have told lies and touched the carcass of a dead pig ... or even shaved the corners of their beard off EVERY MORNING with a razor (going straight to hell for that one). So, my question then becomes... are we judged by these laws, or do we receive salvation by the blood of Christ? It would appear to me, from my reading of the Bible, that a homosexual who recieved salvation through the blood of Christ would be just as welcome in Heaven as someone who lied or touched a pig and recieved the same salvation...

Curling, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here.

No you're right. Sin is sin. Christ's blood covers all.

But I disagree about school tax. Everybody even single people pay school tax. It is for the benefit of the nation to have educated young people.

Even a 93 year old woman whose son and grandson already graduated from the system?

And as for you earlier statements - try not making personal attacks (goofball, jerkoff) - unless you intend for others to view you as a moronic ultra conservative christian crusader. I know it takes some effort, but try if you want some respect. Feel free to PM me to eternal damnation.

I am sorry I called you that. But it just literally pisses me off when people mention banning. Banning sux.

find one single gay person that chose to be gay, just one.

one person that at some point said, "well, I could be straight or I could be gay. hmm. GAY"

This argument is not about religion, it’s about the government supporting a gay marriage. Why does the government support marriage in the first place?

Every creature on this earth has a will to survive and continue the survival of its species.

The government interest in marriage is to help to raise a healthy next generation. In doing so they guarantee a more stable, successful country by giving married couples tax breaks which allow them to contribute more to the next generation.

So why should the government support gay marriage? As everyone knows, (at least I really hope so) it is impossible for gays to procreate. So why should tax payer money go towards something that is not going to reward society as a whole? The same goes for marrying family as metal retardation and other physical defects are very common as a result.

Gays do have the right to marry, just as everyone else does. However they cannot marry the same sex. Why should they receive specials right? I mean if someone is attracted to their six year old daughter shouldn’t they be allowed to marry? When does it stop? Right now we have so many special interest groups it almost sucks to be one of the “normal” population.

Great logic. I suppose that people who don't plan on having kids or who are sterile shouldn't be allowed to get married?

EDIT: Beaten to death

i'm not really in favor of gay marriage...i think marriage is an institution designed for a man and a woman. but i do think we (yes, i'm gay) should be entitled to all the rights as others...civil unions with the unioners having all of the same rights as married couples is more than fine with me.

incidentally, been with my partner for 8 years and we are definitely talking about making our bond "official"...
