Totally agree. But must also say this-it is my opinon that the masses of people who are so opposed to homosexuality are threatened by it, scared of it. (Not of being hit on, but it is different, it's not the road most travel.) Since irrational fear is not accepted as a persuasive arguement by most they need to root their fear somewhere and religion offers the most fertile ground in which to plant those roots. There are indeed versus of the bible that deem homosexuality a sin. But there are also verses of the bible that deem things such as husbands taking conqubines as acceptable-something that is widely considered innappropriate. While I believe in the Bible and a God, I also believe that the bible was written during a certain time period. There's no way the author's of the Bible could have anticipated the changes that would take place in the world all these later. Time for a revision I say
