It just goes to show you how the United State thinks. It's all the "ME" factor....which is a sad place for a great country like ours. Our founding father came here so that a person could have the freedom to live their life as they wished. What would they think now if they knew that people were now arguing over something such as Gay Marriage Bans....I'm sure they wouldn't be to happy.

I disagree. And stop useing races as examples. Why not use alcoholics or drug addicts. People have no choice what color they were born. But they do have choices and what they do just like alcoholics and drug addicts. It otherwords drug addicts and alcoholics have problems with it but with help can change. Same thing goes for homosexuality.

I didn't read through the entire thread and maybe this has been brought up... But why does it matter to anyone else who they marry? I think they should be able to enjoy the same benefits if the are willing to commit to each other as a "traditional" couple should.
If marriage is such a "sacred" institution why is the divorce rate over 60% in this country? Religion has zero to do with it. If you choose to mrry in a church that is your choice. But why would you presume to be able to tell anyone else who they can and can't marry? How does it affect you at all?

Oh and btw the reason the marriage stats are so bad is because of the liberal media and liberal philosophies that promote selfism first instead of family and responsibility first and take God out of everything. They make men lust massively with all the porn(so they compare their wives performance in the bedroom to porn chicks and lets face it they are paid to act like that) and seductive clothes of women. I mean I got turned on the other day watching a bra and panty commercial on network TV. They make women think they are losers if they are housewifes and not out in the workforce. They(married couples) are over taxed which makes both man and wife work instead of having mother raise children, the media and govt does it instead and they screw everything up they touch.

Plus people's character is going downhill these days. At one time a promise was a promise and vow was a vow that you kept after this was/is somebody that you fell in love with.

Plus the liberals are taking God out of everything heck people aren't even getting married in churches anymore. We better get back to more traditionalist family values or our country like all the countries the left God, good morals values behind...FAILED and no more.

What are you talking about He is who He is. If you would have gave life, don't you think you would have the right to Judge. But one more thing He is fair and just and forgiving and wants to pour out His blessings on you but He can't until you accept gift of grace to you His Son.
