And obviously your brain can't comprehend the power and knowledge of modern science. You are explaining things you can't comprehend by crediting something else you can't comprehend. The argument "It doesn't make sense so God must have done it" is an empty one, especially with the proof and technology we have today.

Science isn't the answer to all questions, but at least there are facts to support things like evolution and the big bang. All you have is a book written by dozens of different men from all over the world over a period of thousands of years, and then later collected into many different Books (The Bible, the Torah, etc.).

I disagree. And stop useing races as examples. Why not use alcoholics or drug addicts. People have no choice what color they were born. But they do have choices and what they do just like alcoholics and drug addicts. It otherwords drug addicts and alcoholics have problems with it but with help can change. Same thing goes for homosexuality.

Totally agree. But must also say this-it is my opinon that the masses of people who are so opposed to homosexuality are threatened by it, scared of it. (Not of being hit on, but it is different, it's not the road most travel.) Since irrational fear is not accepted as a persuasive arguement by most they need to root their fear somewhere and religion offers the most fertile ground in which to plant those roots. There are indeed versus of the bible that deem homosexuality a sin. But there are also verses of the bible that deem things such as husbands taking conqubines as acceptable-something that is widely considered innappropriate. While I believe in the Bible and a God, I also believe that the bible was written during a certain time period. There's no way the author's of the Bible could have anticipated the changes that would take place in the world all these later. Time for a revision I say
