I live in Houston, lived in Austin and Dallas, and prefer Houston actually, besides there is no better place for my line of work. Austin is fun to visit, but I grew up there and it is too small for me. Dallas is a bunch of stuck up assholes with a piece of shit central expressway. Houston is a lot of fun. They have been really redoing downtown, and it has gotten better, but the real fun is when you are there with someone who knows the cool ass local spots where the hotties roam. BTW I get more ass here in Houston than anywhere else I have ever lived. More titty bars than any other city, which means you meet strippers anywhere you go (contrary to popular belief, you do not usually pick up strippers in stip clubs, rather when they are out when they are off). Yeah it is hot, but that just means that the ladies wear less. I love H-Town!

Houston is a gaping industrial shithole. In the summer it is regularly 100 degrees or more with 100% humidity. It is the headquarters of most of the oil and gas companies in the US so lots of money and lots of assholes flaunting it. I had the opportunity to work there and make a lot more than I make now and turned it down due to the extreme drop in quality of life from Denver to Houston.

I find it amusing that someone from Houston is calling people from Dallas a bunch of stuck up assholes. The entire rest of the State considers Houston the quivering asshole of Texas (it generally smells like one too!). I'll admit flaunting money is pretty rampant in Dallas but I always thought it paled in comparison to Houston. I am with Scotsman though, moving to Denver was the smartest move I ever made.
