Ya, US has done a good job as a whole the last couple decades to water down the racism.

This is your opinion. I disagree. A good example is Texas with the redrawing of district lines IMHO is the latest example of a state openly discriminating against minorities.

Most states redraw their district lines every 4 years, correct? Unlike CA, which hasn't done it in 30 years.

Gerrymandering is one issue. Yes some state legislatures still control how the district lines are drawn simply so thier congresspeople can stay in office. That's not the issue in Texas

Nope. DOnt think we've progressed as far as alot of people think.
I'll go back to the Ran Paul issue of putting white only signs on private businesses. If it were legal , I think you'd see reality for what it is. There'd be alot of white only private clubs....

Discrimination is a difficult thing to gauge, it only really matters if its against you personally.

they already have it still in many areas, but we call them private clubs and require $$$ to join them...

it keeps the riff raft out... no race requirement.
