well, it's a saturday night and I'm not going anywhere because sunshine here decided to play cutsie with his ebrake on the ice slicked back roads of northeast ohio. I used to dominate my ebrake.....but two years in Cali and I'm.....well......a bit rusty shall we say?.... :D


god damn project gotham got me started on that shit!!! :mad:
 
we had ice here in new orleans on interstate 10 yesterday morning.....beleive it or not.
 
yeh....at the oaklawn overpass in metairie......leaking water from a below the highway water run......froze over and closed I-10 during friday morning rush hour traffic.

I felt like such a FUCKING rookie.....never gassed out of the slide when the back kicked out too far. Now I've got a rim that is seriously deforming the tire wall......so I can't drive it anywhere till monday when the shops are open and can bend it back.....I'm just happy it didn't lacerate the tire. But god damn.....my head bounced off the top of the door frame, hard!! Anyone watching would have pissed themselves.....well, if they were like me at least..... :lmao: :lmao:

we can occassionally have a couple hours of at or below freezing weather here....usually gets above 32 when the sun rises.

the few times it DOES drop below freezing and STAY below freezing....bad news....bursting pipes, closed roads and bridges, schools close. this place is not set up for that kind of long term weather like yankee land is.

yeh...no sand or salt trucks here than any small mid west town has, for example.

a half inch of snow here, once every 10 or 15 years, shuts down the entire city.

we don't even register a half inch of snow as actual snow........more like hail.....a little dust cover, that's all.

well shumacher, as soon as I can afford a skyline I'll go drifting around anytime I want.....till then, only the ice'll get my corolla's back end out at safe rpms....it's a lease, so I can't fuck around too hard.
