higher volume not producing results?

So I started to increase the amount of volume that I’m doing when it comes to my weight training
I started out doing 15 to 17 sets at 12 to 15 rep range and now I increase it to 22 to 25 sets and reduce my rep range to 8 to 10 reps.
I’ve noticed that I haven’t seen any improvements to my strength changing it up like this.
Do you have any idea what could be happening? A bit about me I’m 44 years old and I’ve been training off and on for the past 15 years
 
I don't think a month is long enough you need to go 2 or 3 months it takes time to build muscle tissue
 
hard to really help you online without seeing your training watch some of the guys in the gym and how they train
 
I was doing 5-6 sets of 15-20 reps a set for a long time and it was burning me out, once I dropped down into 1x15 warm up set and 2x10 or 2x12 for my working sets I became much more efficient and I got alot stronger and pretty quickly, the results have definitely followed dropping into what I am doing now
