I'm tired of screwing around, but I have a problem staying focused. My goal is to hit 200 lbs. I'm counting on people here to help me stay accountable. I have some bad habits I need to dump, & I'm looking for some help, when I need it.

I'm 1 month post-op on my sternum, lifting about 80-90% of my pre-op weights.

Pics tomorrow.

OK, here we go. It is with deep shame & some trepidation that I post these.
The one saving grace is that there is nowhere to go but up. (or down, rather).
I really don't expect many compliments & I'm only posting these as an incentive to my self, that the next round I post be better.

My food for the day.
I started to do a leg, chest, & shoulder workout, but my tendonitis in my shoulder & forearm flared up & I only got my squats in.
Did ab work for 20 min. That's the first direct ab work I've done since the surgery.

Left out a back double bi :)
You already know you got great wheels.... NICE CALVES .. praise biking eh?
The scar looks like it's healing nicely, does it hurt?
Dig the veinage you got going on in those forearms :D
You already know what you need to do to reach your goals. Best of luck to you & positive K+ vibes to you  <-- Protein shakes, No beer :velvett:

GREAT job on posting the :Perk:

Well, aside form the obvious (diet), one thing I'm gonnna have to get a handle on is sleep. Most nights I get 5-6 hrs of interrupted sleep. Considering I have sleep apnea, I have to try to eliminate the interruptions, then try to increase the length. I know I'm not getting enough rest.
Last night I got 3 1/2 hrs sleep.

Just went for a nice bike ride. Approx 16 kmh average, I think. I'm gonna have to recheck that.

Dude i dont sleep well at all either. Up until about 4 weeks ago i was having between 4 and 5 and half hours a night. I try to go bed around 12.30am but u wake up alot during the night. Piss poor :(. Gonna try some nightol or whatever its called. I need sleep)

Actually just realsied i take T-Rex about 7ish maybe thats it lol. Ah well mystery solved.

The scar looks like it's healing nicely, does it hurt? Tender to the touch. Was infected, but I'm on anti-B
Dig the veinage you got going on in those forearms :D Thankee. I've been fatter. Was 280 once, & I've never had veinage before.
You already know what you need to do to reach your goals. Yup, just need focus, & encouragement. Best of luck to you & positive K+ vibes to you  <-- Protein shakes, No beer :velvett:
Thanks for your encouragement. It means a lot to me.
My family mean well, but I don't get the constant encouragement & feedback from them. My wife actually feels threatened by my attention to details, weighing foods, logs, etc.

I've never tried the T-rex. Does it really work?

Well it helped me out m8. I love T-Rex and theres a few more i would swear by. But i did add them at a later date once i sorted my diet out as reccomended by a few members on here. IMO its not badly priced at all and i pay extra because im for the UK. Great product.

Thanks. I'd like more in the upper body. I hear it's on sale at wall Mart this week. ;)

Had my Bodyfat tested at the gym today. 27.2%. That means I have 65 lbs fat &175 LBM. So, if I wanna get to, say 10%, then without gaining any muscle, I need to get to 192ish pounds. :worried:
The best shape of my life, 25 yrs ago, in basic training, I was 200lbs. & I have more muscle now.

Todays breakdown:
2566 cal, 31% protein, 43% carbs, & 26% fat.

you should def bring your protein % up.....and your carbs down a little if your looking to lose bf% 40p/30c/30f is good start.....

are you doing cardio along with your weight training? if you wrote it and i missed it i apologize

Yeah, I ride a bike 3-5 times per week. Usually 12-18 km, in 1 to 1.25 hrs.
I know I need to hit the gym in the A.M. for more cardio. When I do that, it's around 20-30 min on a crosstrainer.
Re the diet. I've only really been tracking it for a coupla months. I need to work on planning my meals, more than 1 or 2 meals ahead.
Thanks for your input.

I took 3 caps of melatonin before bed last night. Seemed to work well.

Cheers mate. Will have to give it a go.

Just read about the part about planning meals. This was a dowside for me aswell i would literally go and stand in the front of the cupboard/fridge when i was hungry and try and pick something out to eat at which point i would pick anything up. I find it much easier to plan my meals well ahead normally at least a couple of days to make sure i have all the stuff in that i need. In general i eat alot of chicken for lunch and later on at a pm meal. I was told to keep away from baked potatoes due to the high carb content and try sweet potatoes but i hate the sweet potatoes and i just stuck with baked potatoe and have still made a good weight loss. I have maybe 1-2 higher carbs meals a week that consist of whole meal rice or pasta and chicken and some form of sauce. Morning meals always consist of some form of oats (theres loads of diffrent oat breakfasts where i live) and Raw Eggs (not together :)). TBH i very rarely go hungry i eat more now than i ever did before i started dieting/working out.

Ok i will shut up now :)

I cook enough chicken up ahead for 4 days. I also boil enough eggs for 5 days @ 2 per day. I eat cottage cheese for my 2nd meal, or with breakfast. I alkso have apples & protein powder at work, with milk in a vanding machine. Where I usually screw up is with supper. If my wife makes it, she doesn't break down the ingredients like I would. Sometimes I just don't pay attention, 'cause she is a great cook & I don't wanna know, LOL. That's prolly my biggest downfall.

Credit given to the DIET BOARD ...
"No amount of cardio can make up for a poor diet..."
:) Don't kill me ... :D

HiDN I never got the RUSH or surge of energy from Trex that others report, but I did use it while cutting & feel I had pretty decent resluts of course considering (#1) Diet & (#2) training were tight & in place.. then (#3) supps. I did however, get 'energy' I needed to roll outta bed inthe moring from using Cardio Breeze. For such a LONG time 4 hours a sleep for me was all I needed ... 5 or 6 if I was lucky. So it wasn't that I was tired in the morning, or didn't get enough rest, I just liked the energy I got from Cardio Breeze. It's not as potent as T-Rex seeing is doesnt have the appetite suppressant & other Notropics (for memory & focus) ingredients but it sure as heck worked for me alot better. Trex made me aggressive  lol Others love it though ... like crossy, swear by it, then you have those it doesn't work for, which gives me chills to think they were like "Im at 6 caps & I feel nothing..." Although it didn't give me a boost I sure felt 'something' off one or two, no WAY would I think about what 6 would do to me.

Crossy - try not to take stims like T-Rex after 5, may even push that back to 3 or 4 :) I can see why you can't sleep if you are taking it at 7 silly :lmao:

Holy gone for a day and it takes forever to catch up!!!!

AWESOME PICS, love the legs, and the arms.

Tru dat, LOL. I know where I'm bad. I just need to fix it. No problem. :lmao:
I tried the C.B. & it did seem to give me a small boost preworkout, but for a morning pickup, it didn't really affect me. I think I'll try the T-rex.

You may just be 'one-a-those' fans :) It makes me aggressive & mean lol wtf, but IMO it worked. :D How many CB did you take? Curious ... I have gotten up to 3 caps before ...

I would not like to see HiDnGoD angry :)

I started out on cardiobreeze and pretty much had the same reaction as you. They were ok i just felt i didnt get enough out of them thats why i switched to T-Rex and they have been working fine 3 caps a day.I am actually thinking of increasing the amount i take currently to 4-5 a day. Im a little wary though as last time i tried 2 at one time i thought i was going to keel over, i felt to wired but that was a couple of months ago now.

I was taking 4. Can't remember if it was at a time, per day, or what, but I remember it was at the max, or just over.

Awwww, I'm jst a big Teddie Bear. :chomp: Most of the time.

I do have to be careful whenever I try any new sups, since I'm diabetic. I'm on pills for it, so whenever I try anything new, I have to go slowly and adjust my meds.

Today's performance:
2470cal, 33% fat, 30% protein, & 37% carbs.
Went for a walk with Mrs. No workout, or cardio.

Tomorrow, I'm going for our Company Golf tourney. Working to 10:00, then teeing off at 11:00 with my Dad, my boss, & his Dad. I'll limit myself to 2 beers on the day, usually is 6 or more, LOL.
Prime rib for dinner. Too bad they don't make a scale small enough, so I can weigh my portions.

I struggled to get my protein up to around 40% but started adding tinned fish, Kippers mainly as they were so high in protein around 28g and very little else in them (carbs etc). Unless you dont like fish?

Man! It was awesome. We didn't actually do that well, but the weather was great. A coupla brewskis. They had dinner, I ate the beef & a small potatoe, & that's it. I won a "rescue iron". It's like a small driver, but with the angle of a 3 iron & heavy, for cutting through thick rough.
I did get a little burned.

Back at it tomorrow.

Check it out. Tiger Daly, in the making, LOL. Considering the issues I've been having with my shoulders lately, I figured I'd be a little sore after 18 holes, but I didn't feel a thing. A little tightness across my back, but that's about it.
I'm at work now. When I get home in about 2 hrs, I'll be having a nice workout. Crank the tunes, blast the iron & KILLTHATSHIT
Gold, silver, & red stars?
I'll be good, teacher.

Yes, Mami. I just did Friday. Working on Saturday.
OK, Friday: 2954 Calories. 30% Fat, 36% Protein, & 32% Carbs. That would have been better, if I hadn't had the beer. Plus I had some excess carbs, 'cause I didn't want to get hypoglycemic on the Golf course.
Saturday: Oop, made a mistake. I'll be back. OK, Calories:3278, Fat 34%, Protein 26.5%, Carbs 39.42%. Took wifey out to dinner, & I end up getting stressed, LOL.

Repost.... you know why! :)

Look back only to see where you can fine tune things like (the times you need to eat, what you need to eat and what will work best at those times) . As well, look back to see the progress you have made from all the hard work you have been putting in!

then forward on!!!!!! Your doing it, which is more than a lot of people and your working hard to obtain your goal so knowing that should be motivation enough to keep on going!!!!!!

Yeah, I know! I wasn't sure how to record it , since I trimmed all the fat I could off the Pork Loin. I just used what the listing said to.

In the mean time, I'm down 2 lbs, sizes unchanged, since last week at this time.

Sorry for personal question. You can ignore me if you want ;)

LOL, no. I don't mind at all. In fact, I appreciate anyone that cares to help, or just comment.
My Frau doesn't workout. She eats relatively well, but is a bit of a junk food junkie, occasionally.
We have a daughter, but she lives away. She's in far worse shape than I, but has not accepted that she can do anything about it. She is comfortable where she is.

yes stretching is huge.....i wish i did more of it when i was younger. i would probably have less problems with my back and shoulders.

just a suggestion....instead of the honey nut cheerios (love them) buy reg cheerios and throw some splenda on it....i've been doing that on some of my cheat meals...tastes pretty damn good. the honey nut has alot of sugar per serving. just a suggestion.....looking good though. feel free to comment on my log as well...all the commentary is helpful!

Can't be bothered LOL When I run out of the Honey Nut, I'll just buy the regular.

I only drink the chocolate milk with my protein shake. It's 1% milk & I've read that chocolate milk makes a good PWO drink. I'll post up the comparisons when I get home.
Other than that I try to avoid chocolate, 'cause I do love it.

Lotta stress right now with wife & kid. I've started waking up & having trouble getting back to sleep. Gonna have to hit the melatonin again.

Personally, I don't have much stress. It's just those I love that are beset by all kinds of nasty situations. I just wanna beat somebody. But I know that ain't gonna help.
