Hidngod's log

HiDnGoD said:
A couple points, since I've started this. We used to go theough a 500g bar of Cheddar per week. That's over 1 lb, for you heathens. ;) The current Bar we're working on is over 2 wks old now, prolly another week to go on it.
WE usually buy Liptons sidekicks or Uncle Ben's Rice for supper, we'd each eat a 3rd. No each package does us for 2 dinner's, plus sometimes a lunch as well.
My point is, when you are more aware of how much you are actually eating per meal, you can more easily control it.
Yeah I got rid of all cheese.. not allowed in the house... Causes major issues because I want to eat it all. I got spoiled though in Hungary and got the real Italian Parmesan... Ayeyeyeyeyeye
Good job on the cuts :)

I had a nickname when I was in the army, "mouse". I would load my plate up with cheese, in the mess hall. :lmao: :RADAR:

Well, today was my cheat day. Did pretty good during the day. The usual. But I had Swiss Chalet for supper, with some cheese.
Wifey & I went to the theatre & saw a play, "Barefoot in the Park". Pretty good.
No workout today at all. Tomorrow I'm playing softball in a Tournament. Company tournament, I don't play regularly. We're guaranteed 4 games & if we go for the finals, it's gonna be 6 games. I'sa gonna be tired.

Hope you enjoyed your day "off" from working out :D Well and the cheat meal for that matter as well!!!!!!!!

Thanks man. Despite your controversial demeaner I always knew you were one of the good guys.

Well, we lost in the finals, 16-12.
Pretty good day even though it rained for most of it.
I took some Echinacia with Golden Seal drops, 3 tabs ColdFX, Wild Oregano drops, & 1500ng vitaminC before & after. My shoulder's OK, the only thing sore is my calves, from sprinting.

LOL, I was wondering if anybody actually reads this stuff. They're both the same thing.
It's actually NOZ, by Nutribolics, not NO2.
1g Creatine Ethyl Ester, 2g Tricreatine Malate, Trace amounts of L-Arginine K-G, L-Citruline K-G, L-Histidine K-G, ALA, & some other things.

OK, ok,ok,ok. Here's the dealio. Awesome workout last night. finished up before supper & went out for my fav, blackened snapper. Oooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhh baby. :RADAR:
So, here we go:
Dead Lift: 5X165, 5X245, 5X295, 3X345, 3X345, 3X345, 10X235. Another awesome friggin PR. I'm sooooo stoked about this. Standing Military Press: 5X70, 5X90, 5X110, 3X130, 2X130, 9X70, This is the first BB M.P.s I've done in ages, so this is a trial to determine my weights. I'll have to check way back, but it could be a PR.
Pull Downs: 5X75, 5X105, 5X130, 3X150, 3X150, 12X110. LOL, I screwed up on this one when I loaded the bar. Instead of going up 5lbs, I went down. :(
Shrugs: 10X50, 10X60, 10X70, 8X80, 8X80, 13X65. I have to use higher reps for these because I do shrugs with D.B.s and mine only go up to 80.
Bent over B.B. Rows: 5X90, 5X130, 5X155, 3X175, 3X175, 10X125. PR

I'm in a much better mood today. Don't know if I just got over my cycle( :lmao: ), or 'cause I got my ashes hauled, or what.:jump: :elephant:

Bought a new gripper at sears last night. It's Nordictrak (sp) brand, & it's adjustable. Didn't wanna spring for the ones Sarge & cityhick where talking about until I'm actually strong enough to use them.

Wife & I also looked at a new recumbent bike/rower at Sears. Seems to be a good quality. I'll get the extended warranty though. Nice & quiet so we can use it while watching TV.

Wifey's going to work this AM. I'm gonna fix the break lights on her car, 2out of 3 ain't workin. And maybe change a relay under the dash.
Then I gotta do my front wheel bearings, & maybe my front brakes.

I hate when I screw up on weight like that.. At least you got both sides of the bar loaded with the same weight. A few times I would randomly be doing something and grab 2 different weighst not realizing it and wondering the whole time while I'm doing the exercise why one is heavier until I stop and look. Glad your cycle is over!! lmao...

Hey Bro how's she goin. Any help you can give me to pose a question or make a post or start a thread whatever you call it, I would like to hear from other members who might be suffering from the same condition as mine, are able to work out and get some definition and bulking when you have to guard arthritic joints. I am down to 185 and would like to tone it up for the ladies and myself

wish to stop muscle waisting as well, not sure of the reasons other than limited range of motion that is causing the muscle atrophy

I did that once, while I was talking to the Mrs.. Left a 25 lb plate off one side. Almost dropped the friggin bar, LOL.

I got checked out yesterday in Canadian Tire. I'm not the type that usually gets checked out, but I looked at this 30something chick & she was giving me the once over, without the look of disgust I'm used too, LOL.
It's nice once in a while getting a little recognition for all this aggravation.

Nothing grooundbreaking, but there are a few changes.

ck, Yeah, I've been a little slacking lately, so I'm getting them in when I can. I actually took pics 2 wks ago, but I didn't like the colour, so I'm gonna try again.

jpt, I wasn't supposed to do 50's there, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm gonna have 100lb BB curl lined up for my next arm day. First time ever.

I actually feel like going downstairs & lifting, now. But it's 11:30, & I'm talking with my daughter on MSN. She's going through a bit of drama right now.

I try, but it is soooo frustrating sometimes. She walks like an adult, sometimes talks like an adult. But I gotta remember, in her head, she ain't an adult yet, LOL. :worried: :lmao:

BTW, for anybody that eats hard boiled eggs. Do you peel them when you cook them, or as you eat them? How long will they last in the fridge if you peel them right away?

They are never really adults in your mind when they are your children. and I think when we talk to our parents about our problems we really are going to them as adults if you know what I am mean.

I can only imagine right now your frustration and I am scared :worried: LOL. Good for you though talking things through with her!

I think they last just as long as unpeeled. I peel all of them right away and put them in a baggy.

I know what you mean. Wifey & I still think of her as our baby. We wanna take care of her. But she tells wifey the most outrageous things about her life, stuff that mamas shouldn't know, LOL.
I had to leave work today & go check on her. She didn't show up at work & I was worried. she's moving back home tonight.

That is what makes you such a great dad! I always tell my kids they will always be my babies!

I hope everything works out for her, it is great that she has such supportive parents. Yup I remember the days of the big move back home. Actually just lived there for a year while our house was being built. :)

Well, got her all moved.
6:00 to 9:30, including supper.
I'm fuggin tired, LOL.
I'll post up diet tomorrow. Hit the gym after work, did 39 minutes on the Xtrainer, for 610 cal.
I guess I had my leg & back workout tonight, too.

Yeah, I always want to do cardio in the morning, & lift at night. I can usually lift when I want, but I can never get up to do the cardio. Sooooo, I'm gonna do the cardio when I can after work. Frankly, I'm not losing weight fast enough.
I feel I'm doing well with the lifting, but I know i'm not getting the cardio in. I gotta have balance. It's better for my blood sugar, too, to have both types of exercise.

The way I usually do it is as follows:
It's set for weight loss, I think, so that's programmed for 2 minutes on high, & 2 minutes on low.
I start with incline 5 & resistance 5, for 2 min. That's my low settings. First high setting is 6 & 6, next high cycle I set for 8 & 8, then 9 & 9, & so on. Also each low cycle, I do the first minute peddaling backwards, & the second minute forwards, & I try to stay around 150 strides per minute. On the high cycles, I work up, the first one at 160 spm, the next one at 170, & so on, to a mach of 190 or 200 spm. When I start, my hr is usually around 80-85 bpm. By the time I finish my last cycle on high, it could be anywhere from 150 - 170 bpm. At the end, for the cool down, I slowly ramp down, 1 minute at a time from incline 5 & resistance 5, to 1 & 1. By then my hr has gone from 160ish to 95-105 bpm.
