Hey Madcow, cutting help and gaining strength

Hey Mad, Right now, i am currently in the cutting progress trying to get to about 10%. I was really busy in april and lost alot of strength not going to the gym and improper dieting.

Now i am re-running the program again, same set-up as last time. I know that i am not going to be able to add as much weight (lifts) week by week when im cutting as compared to when i was bulking. I want to reach my week 4 goal, but the encriments of weight that i would have to go up with, would be too much come week 3 and i would probably not complete all the reps. So I was thinking of adding another week of loading just to decrease the weekly increments so they dont bare down on me in the later weeks of loading.

Bad idea?

Sorry if its a little unclear, I'm still a little dazed from my nap.
 
Options: start lighter in week 1, use smaller increments - these don't need to be fixed week to week and be common to every lift. This isn't a big deal just start conservatively and adjust on the fly. Your strength will probably come back quickly.

Also - please put messages like this in the 5x5 thread (it's located in the stickies under routines if you don't see it). There are 2 messages on the board that are basically addressed directly to me and this program so we are trying to keep it at least organized.

You know, if you switched to using the other account and got it upto, I think, 50 posts, you'd have just under 50 Karma Power on it just from the age of the account.

Welcome back, I remember you gained lots of weight from the first run-though. Hope it comes back quickly.

Thanks for the welcome, man! Yup I gained a lot of weight, and i did lose some, but not enough to make cry about it yet. Im working my ass of in the gym and outside of it as well so i can get back where i left off.

hmm, maybe i should switch to my plat account...
