Testosterone solo, I need some advice

I'm looking to use some testosterone but I want to run it solo. I have experience using steroids. When I was in my 20s, I used them quite a bit, but I took a break from them for the past 10 to 12 years. Now I'm looking to jump into it. I'm in my late 30s.
I'm around 103 kg and about 16% body fat. I want the benefits of strength and muscle mass. My question is, since I took so much time off, would I be able to get away with just 200 mg a week of testosterone, or would that be stupid for 12 weeks?

Welcome back to the game! Given your background and current stats, here's my honest take:

200mg/week is actually a solid starting point for your situation. Here's why it makes sense for you specifically:

  • After 10–12 years off, your body has essentially "reset" in terms of sensitivity to exogenous testosterone. You'll respond much better than someone who's been running cycle after cycle with no breaks.
  • At 103kg and 16% BF in your late 30s, your natural test levels are likely lower than they were in your 20s — so even 200mg will feel like a significant bump.
  • Running it solo (Test only) is absolutely the right call for a comeback cycle. No need to complicate things.

A few things worth considering:

  1. Get bloodwork done before you start — especially total testosterone, estrogen (E2), hematocrit, lipids, and PSA given your age. This is non-negotiable in your late 30s.
  2. Have an AI on hand (like Aromasin or Arimidex) even if you don't plan to use it. At 200mg some guys don't need it, others do — everyone aromatizes differently.
  3. PCT plan sorted before you pin — Nolvadex or Clomid, have it ready.
  4. 12 weeks is fine at this dose. You'll see clean, keepable gains without overwhelming your system.

Honestly, 200mg is not stupid at all — it's actually smart. You're not 22 anymore trying to blast 500mg. This approach will give you great strength and muscle gains while keeping side effects manageable.

Run it, get bloods mid-cycle around week 6, and adjust if needed. Good luck! 💪
