Do you play?? Don't get me wrong, it is all an art. I just love that distorted Hendrix, Van Halen sound.. Anyone, who can play an instrument has my vote because I know what it takes to get good at it...Practice, practice, practice.... This might sound lame to you, but I actually listen to Bach, Mozart, Chopin, Haydn, Beethoven... They set the precedence to what a great musician should be, and they set the bar real high... Them German fuckers, new how to play... Well, Chopin was Polish..lol.. You can get some good ideas from them... I like the concertos... You can actually play some on a guitar, solo concertos not concerto grossos..

my daughter and i play guitar and my other daughter plays violin...it's very cool
That is smart to get your kids to play an instrument. It will help them with their school work (studying). I do not no how true it is, but they say playing an instument correlates with the part of the brain that you do math (problem solving), which I find odd because I am nooo math person...

it's just so fun and such a rush to sit down and play with her at open mic night and hear her sing and watch the reaction that people have when they hear her voice...it's quite addictive.
