Hernia...

Difference

New member
I am seven weeks in to my cycle and everything was going very well as far as all gains. I wake up this morning with a pain in my groin and reach down on left side and fell a marble shaped lump. I went to doctor and found out (even though i pretty much knew) i have a hernia. Going to specialist and will have to get surgery. I have been working extremely hard and am very dissapointed. Any thoughts or experiences with this appreciated...

Man dont even trip i had one about 2yrs ago its a quick and easy surgery you wont even notice the scare i had mine in the abdominal area (belly button) and my surgery was only 45mins. the first week be the worst you'll be very stiff and will be cautious about walking but you'll be fine AND TRY TO LIFT ANYTHING go luck!!!!!!!!! bro hope you have a hot nurse :goatslaye

ive had 3. first one umbilical No Problem in and out the other 2 inguenal I did togeather never had any pain before op but the surgen mustve worked 18hrs before getting to me and he fuckd up and damaged a nerve on the left. Not that he admited this but i was last on op list and was suposed to go in at 2pm and didnt go in till after midnight.
That nerve damage was the worst pain ive ever experienced bar none even 2 months later trying to ejaculate was like having a red hot poker jamed in my groin. This was something he said was possible but very rare before op. Shit i was pissed off.
Not tryin to spook u, but ill be making sure i go to a surgeon who specializes in hernia work. Try reading up on it plenty of sites around. Tension free repair is what I believe is the best method, least likely to need redoing.
All the best 2 u mate, get well soon and get back in the gym

Hey guys not to jump over the post but anyone know if a hiatel hernia will cause heart burn and acid reflux everyday? This shit is killing me and i was told by someone not a doctor that it sounds lke a hiatel hernia. i may have spelled hiatel wrong. Im nnot a doctor.

Sorry to hear about the hernia. Does not sound like it is to bad and will make for a speedy recovery. I had one and it was bad. They had to put a mesh and plug in me permanently. I still healed quickely but it was tough at first could not stand up completely straight. Take care.

Yes, a hiatal hernia will cause heartburn and acid reflux if it is big enough.

A hiatal hernia occurs when some sort of intense pressure, such as heavy coughing, vomiting, or straining pushes the lower esophageal sphincter muscle upward through your diaphragm and into your chest cavity. This results in a bulge above the diaphragm.

Normally, pressure from your diaphragm helps keep the lower esophageal sphincter closed. But when the sphincter is forced up into the chest cavity, the sphincter can become weakened and gastric contents back up into the esophagus.

If your friend is right, and you do have a hiatal hernia, it is probably large enough to have resulted in acid reflux for you which is now contributing to the pain and burning sensations you are no doubt feeling in your chest and throat. I would go see a doctor. This condition normally does not require surgery and there are meds that should make you feel much better.

I dont want to be on meds the rest of my life unless it is aas! Are they that type of meds? Like a zantac or something? I would rather et a surgery and be done with it.
