I've had many a friends like this bro. The only thing you can do if he won't listen is wait until he hits rock bottom. Somebody that abuses drugs like this (ocassional is o.k.) obviously has little self respect. You must watch out that he doesn't kill himself, but the only way for him to permanently change is to hit rock bottom and figure things out on his own. Everyone should agree that learning from your own mistakes from these things is the only way to be cured. Keep an eye on him, but stay away at the same time

Most of us go through this some point in our lives. I know I did, and I learned a lot from it and about myself. Like someone said above, hitting rock bottom sometimes is the only way to get back up. He'll be ok bro, you should start getting worried when he has to engage in violent criminal activities to pay for his habits. Otherwise, you'll just have to deal with a fucked up friend right now, because no matter what you say to him, he thinks he's found some new meaning to life that society does not understand. He'll wake up one day.
