I overslept today and I had an exam to take at 11:00am. Im gonna e mail the teacher but i need a believable excuse other than my car broke down, i overslept etc etc...Any ideas????

I have damage to my throat and can talk with a really scratchy voice (it was way better before I got throat surgery)-- it sounds like I'm in horrible pain just trying to talk. It got me out of lots of stuff. They'd always appologize that I sounded so horrible and told me not to talk or explain because it would strain my voice.
