Lay off any movement that involves heavy weight on the back. Do leg presses for not and leg extenstions. it is reffered pain by the way. Not sur that is the case here. you do have an injury and is prolly in the places it hurts.
I think the Football guys idea of stretching you hammys 3x/wk is good advice. When you stretch you hams you are rolling your bck which also gives it a strectch. It allows the vertabrae to pull apart a bit and maybe the disc can slip back into place over time.
