Educate yourself

I think the key to that message is hard work. There is no substitute for the effort that you put in at the gym, in your diet, and with your mentality. You could spend a grand on your first cycle of gear, but unless you put the effort into the basic things, you're not going to see the results that you want. If you want to keep those results after your cycle is over, you have to keep that same resolve.

Frankly I was a little surprised to hear someone considering gear after only 18 months of lifting (though I am probably niave). I've been lifting off and on for 9 years and I just ordered my first gear. Not that it is wrong or right, it's just my situation.

I do think the message was solid....educate yourself. It's your life and your body. What you do with it is up to you.
