Great show. Sort of like Band Of Brothers for the Pacific war. Last night was first episode.

That machine gun crew just made hamburger meat out of that Japan infantry.

I'm pissed that I missed this.. I'll have to watch it on demand later. Band of Brothers is one of my favorite series ever, so I've got high hopes for this.

It's OK so far but I don't think it will top the story in "Band of Brothers".

My great uncle fought in Patton's 3rd army during the Battle of the Bulge where they rescued the 101st Airborne that was surrounded. He was part of a Sherman tank crew. He passed away about 15 years ago. I always felt respect for him just for being there in the fight. WWII was the last war that the USA and Allied countries absolutely HAD to win.
