In a man's mind the two might balance out but trust me when I tell you that one does NOT cancel the other. I can't think of anything more hurtfull then when a male spreads rumors about a female's private sexual life. Hell I still remember in camp when a boy I liked told everyone we had sex and all that happened was some making out and a bit of petting. I slapped him full force on the mouth in front of everyone while telling him not to EVER take MY NAME onto his lips again... something that I wouldn't think to do after that. LOL The camp was all Magyar so as a young woman I had to doubly protect my honor and reputation.

The only way to 100% circumvent such a situation is not to engage in any dating behavior period.

Was I in high school at the time of that incident? YES. But lemme tell you, that taught me A LOT...

Since that time I have dated out the wazoo and done whatever I wanted, wherever I wanted and with whomever but I can tell you 100% NO MAN can say "boo" about what I did or did not do as I never EVER "shit where I ate".

Even on elite... LOL I've been here 8 years and had ONE RELATIONSHIP. My husband is now here... So you tell me how good it makes him feel to KNOW his wife, though not a virgin on their wedding night, NO MAN can *point the finger*.

I may be ultra modern in one sense but in this sense I am VERY old-school.

I've only called one girl a dirty whore and that was for a short period while I was ripping her doors off and punching her walls. I soon calmed down and realized I had over reacted(not the doors and walls part) by using that term.

As for everyone being different, well that makes the world hard and not necessarily better. Think if we all drove the way we wanted, life wouldn't be better it would be worse. This applies as much as the different is interesting statement does IMHO. Think if everyone who went to the gym was mature enough to date and if it didn't work out be mature enough to be civil it would be great. I don't need interesting if I have awesome like that.

She started lifting real close to me , day in day out eventually asking for a spot on excersizes. Then started working in with me on diff machines .Bitch tricked me into comming over she said " I just cooked up some chicken breast and think i cooked up to much it will prob go bad if you wanna come over and eat some that is o.k with me"
I am eating crazy bitch goes takes a shower and comes out naked crawls under the table and goes to town. Next thing the girl won't leave me alone .Finally I told her i didnt want to come over or see her sexually just as friends, She spread so much shit about me in the gym I suddenly became the biggest asshole , a roid monkey, and sleaze ball.I ended up just changing gyms after a few months.

Advice: if you like your gym and want to stay dont date or have sex with anyone from your gym

sounds like a high school gym and a high school situation. I think the situation at hand in this thread is "a date" not "eat some chicken and get a blow job". I've know with ever person I've been with on the first date if it would work out. I don't think she is talking about quick action here, sure I agree don't go home to someone's house for lunch from the gym. Go on a quick "get to know you date" on the other hand should be easy if you know how to step out if it is bad.

A. I would stick to a partner within 3-5 years of your age.

B. I most likely would not date anyone from my gym as I like my gym and you never know this one may be the schyco that you want to sever ties with.

My wife is 14 years younger and we met at the gym/ dojo. We knew each other for a year or so before dating. It can work. Everyone is different. Just use good judgement.

i think the general consensus is that it would do her no harm to go to dinner with him, if that goes well maybe see him again, get to know him more. who knows, it could be the best decision she ever made? only one way to find out.
