Have you ever been scammed when purschasing gear?

Just doing a poll to see how many of you have been scammed.
 
yep, but the guy tried to come back and i was one of the few that actually got 50% of my cash back..

it's part of the game though..
 
Fortunately to date I have not. I tend only to use recognized sources though and that goes a long way to not getting scammed. One time I thought I had been when using someone for the first time but actually had my order reshipped and that arrived so "touch wood" my luck has held so far.
 
never thought of a thread like this. i guess more than half have been. including myself. its was on DBB. that piece of sh1t board
 
Back in the dark ages before the internet a guy at the gym sold me what he said were Dianabol - methandrostenolone - but they were cortisone pills. The idiot left them in the blister packs so after I looked up the name and saw it was'nt D-bol I got my money back. You see, back in those days you knew exactly where to find your scammer, :fistfullo
 
I don't think its possible if you do the actual legwork and take your time to research people, if there's a scammer there's something on the internet about their email address. If you jump into anything your more likely to get screwed over.
 
Gear has become so cheap and available in the UK now that there is less and less reasons why anyone would bother getting involved in producing fakes.

However, people have scammed each other unintentionally by bringing in fakes from Thailand and Spanish Primo and giving it to their close colleagues at cost price. I got offered Primo by a friend at the gym which was a blatent rip-off. It was 3 in a box Schering Primo which is defnitely fake. He was selling it to me at the price he bought it for on vacation, but I told him he would be better off throwing it all in the bin.
 
I figured it would be close to 50/50. Unfortunately one of my friends got busted this year so my source is gone. I did some research for a month into a new one and got ripped.
 
When i first started, got my stuff, sadly it wasnt legit though : / lost about $200

Nope but i havent but i havent been around long either. i figure its just a matter of time until i am forced to find a new source and subsequently getting scammed.
 
I got scamed before I came here but it was not any one on this site..it was a site that popped up on a search.I only sent them 80 bucks though so I was lucky lol..then I came to ef and got right.
 
I have begun to realize that in life there will always be people who scam, lie, cheat, or do anything to screw people out of there money. I can say though that my last 2 days of workouts have been off the hook, and about as intense as i have ever had.
 
Anyone ever remember that robbing, cheating, Dirtbag "Chase"? I remember someone posted what they thought was his details onto the forum only to realise after that it was a totally innocent party who shared similar name and city that got his details posted!!!!

Some of the Bros on this site were really angry about Chase sending emails laughing at folk telling them he picked up his Western Union in a location with no camera. I'd love to know if anything happened after.

Just once thankfully. Scumboogie got me for about a "G". Fucker made alot of money, he should have just closed shop instead of dicking over the cats that made him rich. I got my package but all the shit was fake. Fake T-Bol, fake EQ, Fake var and fake test.

Obviously I can't answer for the previous post, but this guy really went on one major killing before closing shop. His name was as good as gold and he could have easily sold the Business on to someone else and allowed them to trade from his website. Shows how dumb he really was. Why he did that is right up with the mystery of Our Lord I'm afraid.
 
What goes round comes round. I got gear from a "mate" who I also trained with. When I knew he could recap a vial my suspicions where confirmed. Lets just say hes just escaped going to jail, got done over by a few in the game, lost his job as a bouncher, got kicked out by his partner, got no money & banned from most gyms in town. The Brotherhood prevails!

I think you're right about what goes around comes around. Its not a Karma thing, but more to do with the individual concerned. People who specialise in screwing others over tend to get greedy, arrogant, and make big mistakes as they being to believe their own B-Sht. Thats why this guy got into a lot of trouble, because he obviously creates it everywhere he goes. An ex-gf caused me some major problems a while back. My sister asked if I ever felt like getting even (such as reporting some vandalism she did to the police). My reply was no because my ex-gf was brilliant at screwing things up all by herself without any outside help.

LOL women got a knack of getting it sorted. Yeah I find now in our present time of great change, that the "Karma" get delivered real quick. I have to watch myself, now I'm on the Dark Side. Ps I got a fair bit of light in me to balance out Yo!
 
To me its not about the money, its about respect, and honesty. I can always make more money, but once you lose trust in someone and realize they have no honesty, and no respect thats where i draw the line.
 
I was around it constantly in the 80's and never touched it. It was the early 90's when I first tried a pre internet mail order source and was actually sent something but it was bogus. Found a hardcore gym and used the "regulars" but one day one of them gave me fake shit. I was about the confront him when I heard he'd been arrested for killing his wife. Nice guy, eh?

Then there were the dark days of having to go to some hole in wall apartment in the Bowery. It was unbelievably sleezy. You wondered if the moment you stepped outside you'd be busted or robbed or worse. It was times like that when you start to think, what the fuck am I doing? But at the same time it's kind of a thrill, ya know? Those were the days of the pentagon pink thai dball. A canister of 500 for $150! They were AWESOME.

Decca was more expensive than it is now. Anadrol 50 - oxymetholone - was cheap. It all dependend on what was popular. Anavar - oxandrolone - was next to impossible to get. Primmo tabs were still around, 50 mgs and cheap.

I don't know about that! lol If I got pinched on the way out of some of those "office meetings" it may be a very different reality today.

Then again there were the teen years where I did some shit that I still can't believe I got through alive. Some didn't.

Just to show how long I've been at this, I saw Arnold at his first American show where he lost to Sergio Oliva! I was 15.

I took a break in my late 20's early 30's but it was when I came back when I started exploring new concepts and methods. Suddenly I started making amazing gains and began working as a body model at age 40. When I started juicing I entered the NPC and came in 5th. That was the time I started writing and getting some attention. Before long I was hangin with guys who were idols of mine. Some turned out to be great guys, others were total douchebags. LOL.
 
damn man I bet. Its crazy seeing HUGE guys with Girly voices, that just trips me out.

Somebody should have shot that mofo. It's one thing to start out as a scammer but IMO way worse to gain everybody's trust, get rich and then turn scammer. These m-fers that turn like that are the worst scammers and should burn in hell
