Hate Crime beating of white boy????

I dont konw how this was caught on video, but if this is real, I see no reason why the black boys who beat this kid should not be prosecuted for hate crimes.

How was this not racially motivated?

Indeed Jackson and Sharpton would be all over this were the tables turned. I find it amusing that Jackson, Sharpton and all the prominent figures that took such strong sides in the Duke case, did not offer an appology to the white athletes and at the same time admit that they jumped to some very unwaranted conclusions in that case. In addition, they have been silent regarding the key witness and alleged victim's inablity to keep her story straight and her likely filing a false police report- Let alone all the division, contention, and bad feelings that her false claims have created.

Instead the scapegoat (who asked for his share of the blame) is the prosecuting attorney.

Sharpton has made a career of turning controversy, divide, and tragedy to his own benefit, and Sharpton has yet to be held accountable for the times when he has stirred things up to the nth degree only to find out that his claims are not warranted.

No one dares call Sharpton on the carpet for his inflamatory, bigoted, and racist remarks.

Can't say that I disagree.

The downtrodden and abused do need and should have a voice; someone to champion their cause. But one WOULD THINK that would apply to ALL victims regardless of race/age/religion etc. Furthermore when SUCH egregious errors in judgement were committed (such as those that most likely DESTROYED the lives of those young Duke athletes) these same *voices that champion victims* would be THE FIRST to publicly admit they screwed up. Don't WE ALL make mistakes?

they were just welcoming him to the neighborhood............they could have fucked him up royally if they wanted to. He just took a little brow beatin, that's all. Nobody tried to curb stomp or anything. Look, I'm not agreeing with that shit.........but they do do it to new black kids that move into the area. Usually they do it to kids that they're going to "welcome" into their circle...............so not sure why they did it to him, but it is true.........if white kids welcomed a black kid to the neighborhood in such a manner, shit would pop off with the Al and Jesse show rolling into town.
