Has anyone ever seen a real ghost?

I remember when I was young my father traveled and it was just me and my brother and mother sitting in the den one night... From the den you could see back into mine and my brothers hallway to our bedrooms... I remember my mother gasping and we looked and there was a lady in a white dress floating down the hall...Now I was only 6 years old at the time however the lady stopped in the air and looked at us.. We left and went to stay with my grandparents.... My mother did some research on the house and come to find out, a young girl died in my brothers room... That is one of the scariest things I have ever witnessedl. It has been 32 years since then, and it still make the hair stand up on my neck..... We never saw her again....

what is composition? i thought we are organic.....carbon, right?
are not we an amalgamation of inborn temperament and a succession of experience that form personality? do these ghost represent that? do other sentient beings become ghost. is this a temporal situation or is it "eternal"
if ghost exists outside known physics and cannot me detected with current scientific devices are they relevant?
i find all of this veeeery suspect. just a few questions from a skeptic. btw if ghost exist we will eventually be able to detect, identify and classify. then we move it into science and it no longer "supernatural"

Today, creationist arguments are based on the fact scientists can't conclusively explain what started the "Big Bang" even though everything else has been explained. among others but michael shermer is the cooolest skeptic. bertrand russell is THE genius of genius. i live in the bowels of the deep south and one must be armed (intellectually, of course) and ready. dawkins is one of the elite who has worked his way into the mainstream. i think ppl are "waking up" and folk like dawkins who have a talent for simplifying and explaining very complex info and ideas will become more and more popular.
