Has anyone ever gone on a AAA vacation deal?

I see ads in my AAA magazine all the time for some pretty cheap vacations. I was wondering if anyone had ever tried one of these? If so, was it decent or were the accomodations bad? I want to go to Vegas bad! Sometimes they offer Vegas packages for $500-600 per week including airfare and a rental car.
