I've had elnow surgery and doing DB lateral raises with my palms down hurts my elbow. I have noticed that facing my palms forward seems to create more stability in the joint. I think it also stresses the muscles of the forearms in mush the same way as hammer curls.
What I want to know is how does this affect the concentration on the delts? It feels like it may be concentrating the force more on the front delts but woudl like to hear from the experts
