I am just finishing a high dose deca/test/d-bol cycle. My strength ahs been going up in leaps and bounds... perhaps a bit too fast. Tonight I was in working legs. I got through quads just find. Then I did a couple sets of straight legged deadlifts for my hamstrings. No problem. Then I got on the lying leg curl machine. I stacked the weight on the first set. The second set I dropped the weight down one plate lighter. I was only on my second set when BLAMO! It felt like my right leg tore free at the hip. I dropped the weights and rolled around on the floor for a couple minutes. The pain was very bad... but I was able to get up and walk out to my car by myself. (Fortunately, my girlfriend was there to drive.) Now, I can walk... kind of a limpy walk... and the top of my right hamstring really hurts...
My question is:
Did I rip it? Does this just sound like a muscle spasm? Or what is it?
My g/f examined my legs. Both of them look exactly the same. The muscle is not balled up on one end. (When a friend of mine tore his pec it balled up in his chest.) My legs look just fine... it is just that the top of my hamstring hurts like a mother fo.
Can any injury experts tell me what this sounds like?
