Halo 2 Leaked!!!!

the pal beta version has been leaked. its in french with english subtitles.

havent checked myself but supposedly its already hit a few bit torrent sites.

You have to play it on the console and finish it on "legendary" The game AI is incredible. Very groundbreaking. UN is too gimmicky with no real deapth to the plot and certainly no game AI.


This leak will do nothing to delay the release of the game. It's too late, it's due out in a few weeks and i'm pretty sure the manufacturing has already begun and the distributors are stocking up on the merchandise getting it ready to hit the stores. Personally i'm a game purist and woudl never download a leaked game. What's the point? I want to play it the way it was menat to be played and waiting for it just makes it that much better and it's respectfull to all the designers that slaved over the game for years. But i guess some people are still like the 5 year olds at Christmas who open presents at night and re wrap just so they can see what's inside.

HL2 is gaing to be incredible as well. It looks like it might raise the bar on Halo 2, but with a different flavor. I loved the first HL, I didn't just play it, i lived it, lol!
 
useless info. none of us will ever be able to find it or dl it. Oh well. Nothing changes. Still waiting for november!!
 
It's less than a month away, I think I can wait on the released version.
 
I have 2 paid off in full. The basic one and a limited edition one. (2 so we can systemlink multiplayer).

All I have to do it go pick it up in Gamestop's VIP line.:)
 
I think that everyone with a reserved copy will get the Limited edition version. I recieved an automated phone call sometime back saying so. Apparently it's to reward you for waiting so long or something. Gotta wait and see. It will be a good day when it comes out.

I think that option is available whenever you pick it up....it's $5 more though.

Ahh yes that's it then...

What was your favorite multi player arena? We really love, prisoner, battle creek and hang'em high all played with rocket launchers. Friggin priceless entertainment, it gave us hours upon hours of belly aching laughs and fun.

I also really loved assault on the Controll room and the Library. Legendary all the way in single player with the subwoofers and surround turned up, lights off and some good MJ. Ahh good times.

I actually enjoy every level except Chiron (sp?)....the one with all the green doors. I hate that one.
Favorites would be Bloodgultch and Damnation.

I bet the beach (Zanzibar?) level they've shown from Halo2 will kick major butt.

I hate that one too, all the green doors blahhh! IT's crap.


Halo 2 beach level looks like it will be some major fun.

i rarely reserve games but this one i have to because a) the demand is going to be so high that if you dont reserve a copy you may have to wait a couple of weeks or more to get one. b) i have to have this game the day it is released or many gamestop employees will die.

Funny you should say that because this is the first time i reserved a game too.
 
there'll be plenty of copies. there's so many outlets now selling video games. i reserved battlefront, only to see it next day everywhere.
 
You can reserve a copy at the 7-11 down the street on the corner.....how fucked up is that? lol they have a big sign in the window

halo 2 is very different. i have been gaming for a long time and i can only think of a handful of games with the level of anticipation that halo has. pre orders are over a million-the gamestop near my house has 900 pre orders alone-they said the closest they have ever had to that was for vice city and wind waker but both were still 300-400 pre orders less. also, it has already been announced that if you ordered the collectors edition within the last month or so than you will not recieve that copy until a week or more after the release date. halo 2 is a gaming phenomenon. i just hope people dont hype the game up to expectations it can never live up to. then again, most people interested in the game already like halo and just want more levels, more enemies, more weapons, and a continuation of the story. so it will be pretty hard for bungie to disappoint. besides, every gaming site/mag that has been blessed enough to play large parts of it say it is amazing.

It will be great. I have recently seen all the lips from HL2 and have to say it will raise the bar on Halo 2. They basically took what halo2 is doing and moved it up a notch. HL2 blew me away, i can't wait for that one either.

it's basically the half-life 2 beta code. The released it early for all the mods - like counterstrike, day of defeat - and half life....so basically it's like playing half life 2.

you were referring to half-life 2 weren't you? when you said HL2

Yes Half Life 2. It looks so bad ass and realistic. I could totally see myself drowning in it and literally experiencing it. I like halo a lot but it's more of a "game" to me, albeit a great one. HL and HL2 struck me in a different way, in a "i wish i was there" Kinda way.

Yeah...it gives you a good rush. Especially with a headset and microphone, you can get some fuckin awesome teamwork, strategy going on. Some of these organized teams are absolutely insane.
 
Yeah, we might be getting half-life 2 around Christmas 2009! That game will never come out.

I'm taking off work the day Halo 2 comes out. How sad is that!?!

Yeah but the multi player in Halo 1 is already awsome. In all honesty the only improvement it could use is better graphics and arenas. So as as long as that's improved the Multi will be off the hook.
 
I remember playing the original on my cousin's X-box around X-mas time. I wouldn't let go of the controller.

Literally. I really didn't stop, and I wouldn't let him go home.
 
i think if you order it online from ebgames.com or some reputable site -- u should get the game right on the same day it's released. Usually they're pretty good at the coordination with the mail.
