we went to a party- just her and I.
She's 13 but looks older, except tonight she was dressed like a 13 year old- skinny jeans, crazy colorful shirt, and these little fake clip on hair things she wears.
Everyone kept asking her how old she was- There were no other 'kids'. so she would say "13" and they would be surprised.

Privately she told me she was tired of people asking her how old she was, so i told her to say 48 next time. That's what she did. People would ask and i'm sure they expected an answer like "17" and she'd very seriously say "48".

god i'm tired. I had way too much to drink (used a car service) and I smell like bug spray.

today we went to the mall. I got her sandals and some chuck taylors and a few tops in old navy. She's so friggin' picky. i got a top in old navy too.
we also went to the grocery store so we could make soup later, and smoothies.

Believe me, if all the stuff that I have irrefutable evidence is being done to some kids is OK with DYFS and the family courts, school officials, local police and several shrinks - bugspray will have no trouble passing muster. Now the whole "forcing the kid to help you make soup" thing - THAT is questionable behavior.
