Had accident during bench press!

Damn bro that sucks. Was there no one that run to help you or did you have to drop weight off of each side. That shit almost happened to me this week and it scared(spelling) me. I had to put it on the middle rack instead of the top. Thank God the benches at me gym have those.
 
i think anyone who lifts heavy has had that happen, or almost happen, i usually lift with a couple bros, but when they no show i still gotta get er done. it took a while after that happened to me to regain confidence to lift heavy without a spot, but we all gonna die of somthing ;)

That's funny shit! I think we have all been there. I have a fucking beautiful story. I played baseball in college and all of the athletes used the same workout facility. One day I was in there after practice doing really high rep sets on bench. I think I was only using like 155-185. I had pitched that day and just wanted to get some blood flowing. Anyway, there was this Korean chick in there who played volleyball. She was doing quarter squats with 405, she was a fucking beast! Here's where my diginity and self-respect leave town for good. I was on my 16th rep and that shit buried me, mind you I was using no weight. I can feel her barreling across the gym to pull it off me, I felt like I should explain myself to her but I just gave up. I felt like a massive douche bag. Everytime I walked by the volleyball team I had to hang my head because I'm sure she ratted me out. Kill me.

I could have tried to explain, but the pain would still remain. As a matter of fact, it may take some therapy to get over that damage.
 
Bro I dropped weight on my neck one time....it was just plain ass painful, and with a weight I do regularly for reps...didn't grip the bar and try to bend it..I held it with a no thumb grip...never again.

You might want to tell him its not all about the drugs......feed the little guy. And i dont mean denta bones. Taco needs to be put on a Tuna/Ground beef/rice diet. Im willing to bet he has not yet reached his natural potential!
 
some old ex-nfl football player died bench pressing at home with no spotter. I cannot rember his name - he was in his forties.

I lift solo at home. When I go heavy for bench I use dumbells. Just dropped them on the floor tonight earlier matter of fact. I'm sure my downstair neighbors loved that lol.

then for barbell I do high reps. And if I have too I can slide it off me.

Chest isnt that bad....try to tell him to work on the arms and wheels though. We all started small.......Try the new Chicken burrito..from Taco Bell....he should blow up!

shit when i used to workout in my basement i used to get stuck under the weight all the time. my solution was left one side fall then the other...no pain at all...LMAO.....sometimes i would roll the bar down my stomach and that was painfull as fuck

I rolled that shit down my stomach once, that was a bad idea. It was like a steamroller ran over my unit, he wasn't too happy with me.

I can still remeber what bench I was on at the gym, that was a horrible experience. I felt like a real fucking genius rolling 245 down my stomach, I was runner up for a nobel prize that year. I got back home and Mensa had given me a recruiting call, they wanted to hear some of my ideas.
 
LMAO yep ive been there...the best is when u catch the 300lb fat guy with 85lbs stuck to his chest after the 4th rep LMAO!!

What kind of cycle do u have him on? I think 1 ML of test E twice a week for 10 weeks would be good for the little guy. He should get some nice bulk and walk away with about 7-8 lbs of LCM (lean chihuaua mass). Get him a little speedo and a # and you are good to go! Good thing on the sides, his fur should cover the acne.
