Gyno . . . four years later?

Second Storm

New member
So I haven’t been “on” in nearly 4 years, but this past week my nipples have been killing me. A quick history: I did three low dose test cycles in my mid 20s and used nolvadex to combat itchy nips and a BB-sized bump directly behind my right nipple. Showed my last doc the bump/gyno and was told it was too small to worry about (he could barely find it). Everything’s been cool since then.

But as I’m typing this 4 years later, my left nipple is sore again, my right is raw, and the lump behind my nipple is tender enough to raise concerns. I’ve been hitting 40mg/day nolvadex the past few days but seeing only marginal improvements.

Anyone have experience with gyno symptoms this far off your last cycle?

And what do you all think . . . stay with the nolva until I can get a blood test?

Do you drink a lot? Especially beer?

Are you taking anything else - supplements etc?

Couple glasses of wine per week, tops.

As for supplements, nothing but protein and fish oil.

Only thing I can think of is that I've been under a tremendous amount of personal stress lately (several deaths in the family and a ton of travel) and that might be screwing with my hormone levels.

I'm either gonna wait for my doc to get back (he's on vacation until mid next week) or I'm just gonna pay for a blood test myself.

I'm assuming I want free/total testosterone and estradiol. Anything else?

please, make a hormonal test

review your prolactin, progesterone, testosterone, estradiol

and , you should go to the doctor (endo), is better...

Okay, just plopped down a couple hundred bucks for a blood test. We'll see what it says.
