Well I finally got tired of everyone asking what I look like now after my most recent cycle.

I am a bit embarassed of being not as in shape as usual. But I am taking my time dieting this time to preserve as much mass as possible. At least this should give u an idea of how much I grew. BTW - That cycle was over 2 months ago so I have lost any and all water weight by now.

The before shot is at 223lbs and after is at 241lbs (weight as of today) at a heigh of 6'2".

the conditioning is for sure better in the first. i welcome the added size though. i tried to really take advantage of every possible pound of muscle i could get.

it wont take me too long to get back into shape. that is the one good thing about being in decent shape. once u know what it takes to get there and it becomes second nature.

Also you maybe one of those guys Like Milos Sarcev that simply thrive by not gaining more then 10-15 from their Cut State

i think i put 1/2" on them.

i wish i had his genes. i really do try not to "blow up" too much but at the same time finding that balance where i am maximizing my potential gains.
 
Here are some more. They are a little bit older than the other but still this year. They are not as clear since they are with the cell phone.

I dont have a before shot really of my back but trust me when i say i put added thicknes from before.


My calves busted out a little more as well but they have always been pretty decent. Still have a few viens in the quads.

Are you using straps for anything? Reason for asking is I still use them for heavy deadlifts and some back exercises.

I am strapless for deadlifts, shrugs, rows, everything.

Drop the weight so u can go without straps and your forearms will catch up quick.

I never use straps.. maybe when I DL 800+ lb but I got a while :)

I see some guys walking around their whole workout with straps on and I just look dumbfounded like, wtf?

Your body physique in your avatar pic.. Is just rediculous.. Its amazing..

I sent you pms before.. and your pics before.. were just bad.. they were fat and you had these AMAZING progress pics.. and then you have THAT pic in your avatar..

you are the prime example of what great dedication and lifting is about..

i love my body.. but your pic in that avatar is IMO the best physique you can get..

the body builders... sure its great.. but the masive veins and all is just gross to me..

When you get back to that status bro keep it.. I think its the best you can look without looking recidulously overdone..

i worship your physique..

which arm? I just measured again this morning since u got me curious and they are within 1/8" of each other. I think it is just the angle. I had to set the camera up on my towel rack and the camera doesnt sit level so i try to angle myself to get centered.
 
thx bro! but i do prefer being bigger and cut at the same time. i like the look of massive veins and huge muscles, but with symmetry and a tight midsection. but that is just me. it is certainly not everyone's cup of tea.

you have a surfeit of mass... 242 you are just huge, still fairly cut, but when you cut up again... your physique will be ridiculously nearing perfection... excellent work, your dedication has payed of prodigiously...

dood, this is a body building/fitness website....admiring/complimenting someone for their excellent efforts at lifting and nutrition hardly makes u a "nut swinger"! :artist:

It looks like your right arm. I look again, and your left arm appears to hang straight down while your left is pulled back a little bit, which is probably just creating an illusion, but your left arm appears thicker for some reason.

The key for me was really concentrating on squeezing with my back and holding the contraction and thinking of my arms more as hooks.

1)Wide Grip Chin-ups: 1 set to failure
2)Narrow under-hand grip pull-ups: 1 set to failure

*Note - I would just stick with these two instead of going on to similar hammer strength machine exercises but i am not strong enough on these due to my weight to do more than a set.

3)Behind the neck Hammer Strength Pull downs: 1 set to failure followed by a dro set to failure
4)Close Grip Hammer Strength Pull downs to the front: 1 set to failure followed by a dro set to failure
5)Hammer Strength Wide Grip Rows: 1 set to failure followed by a drop set to failure
6)Hammer Strength Narrow Grip Rows: 1 set to failure followed by a drop set to failure
7)Dumbell Pullovers: 1 set to failure followed by a drop set to failure
8) Rack Pulls (barbell is about 12-18" off the ground in the rack): 1 set to failure followed by a drop set to failure

If u arent getting your back pumped like arms then u r not squeezing hard enough.

Your biceps are huge compared to your forearms. What gives? How tall are you because you and I have similar builds (except you have more mass than I)? I am 6'4"
 
it's amazing how different the same person can look with different angles and changes of lighting.

i used straps for about everything until the beginning of this year and never did any forearm specific training. they are slowly catching up. My biceps have always responded well to the way I train them. I am now trying to get my triceps to catch up. Once that happens they will be past the 20" mark.

I am 6'2". I have long legs and a shorter torso.

I can get a back pump most times, I am ALWAYS sore as hell the next day from my back. Your routine looks interesting, few free weights and a lot of machines.

I have long legs (36" pant length) and a long torso (extra long jacket).

i used to do heave bent over rows but i feel back so much more on the hammer stuff which is as close to free weight imo as u can get. if i could do more sets of the chin-ups i would drop the first 2 hammer exercises.

Doing the forearms should also have added strength to your curls, you notice it?
 
The one thing I know Guardian wants is Galaxy's delts. Those things are ridiculously big.

You're looking massive doing great. You have really high standards to "feel fat" right now. You can still see abs, that more than 95% of the world. And only 1% have around the size and conditioning that you have, so you should be ecstatic.
I think I've decided my "prime" goal is to someday have about the same physique as you do in your avi, or if I can get big enough, to match your current pics. The only thing I would want to change is to have slightly bigger delts. I have a 31 inch waist and I'm 6'3", so that along with leg development like yours would REALLY give the X-frame illusion.
Damn, I've got a LONG way to go. :p

actually there isnt any there. if u look closely at the pics for post #57 u dont see it. it is just splotchiness that only shows when i am really warm or pumped.

:)

tear drop = front squats with toes pointed out 45 degrees, slightly shoulder width stance.

just about any compund leg movement with this stance will do the trick but front squats use less hams/glutes than back squats or leg presses.
