...if all you care about is accelleration. It handles like a pig.

But even then, the GN had a supercharged V6 3.8 liter engine, so you don't have the same options for cheap power that you would with the usual GM 350 V8. And if you swap engines, it's not really a GN anymore.

I am going to have my impala modified to where it will be equivalent to a 350. Chrysler and is subsidiary Dodge put out those cars with a hemi in them and I want a Chevy with something similar

Grand Nationals are fukin sik. My friends father use to build, modify, and race them. Acceleration like nothing else I have experienced in some of his cars, the skin on my face would wind up plastered all over the back seat taking off.
