Fridays around here are dull. About 1/3 of the office is "in" and the rest are "checking their jobsites". Yeah right. I am sitting in front of a set of plans and figuring how many cubic yards of concrete are in the foundatio system and parking lots/sidewalks.

I'm in the Marines bro....Well I'm back from my run.....it was about a 6-7 miler....followed by 400 side straddle hops (jumping jacks) Oh what fun. Ready to eat some food, chill out, then hit the gym up
yeap, you got it...he took us out in the water to do them too...I thought my damn calves were gonna fall off!!!! (and I had to call cadence for most of them, since I'm the loudest one)
4 day weekend for me. I'm just recovering from helping my friend try to clean his house up. I slept there Wed night cleaning up rooms that had no air conditioning or fans, and got my ass the fuck out of there Thursday morning b/c his rents came home that afternoon. I didn't talk him into having the party, or even suggest it to him, so neither one of us expected me to hang as well. But being a good friend helped his as for 2 days straight cleaning. Haven't heard much on his status, but am sure he isn't getting his license any time soon, and that he'll have to hand his testicles in b/c hes not gonna have the oppurtunity to use them for a long time.
Earlier this week I stayed in Rancho Bernardo and the hotel shuttle driver/security guard was a Marine stationed at Miramar. Super nice guy, but it was sad that he had to take a job to make ends meet.
The guy was about 31 and told me a shitload of stories about Somalia back in 1993. All very uncomfortable to listen to.
This guy was a true professional and very courteous. At 31 years old, what do you think his position in the Marine core would be?
