Its people with your attitude that are the problem. You underfund the worst schools and what will you have? More crime. More crime means more police, more jail and prison staff. More $$$ spend.

Then you have undereducated people out in the working force making next to nothing. That means more people using state funded programs like food stamps and public housing assistance.

You would love to write off "ghetto schools" as if ignoring them means they don't exist and don't have a fiscal impact to the state. The people who go to those school will still have to go somewhere, would you prefer to see them go straight to a juvenile detention center and don't even both with formal instruction?
