Got into a big car accident yesterday....

A friend of mine got into a car accident riding with two other people. It was basically a fender bender but the SAME EXACT THING happened to my friend, he hit his head on the windshield and had a headache. Well he decided he was ok and went home. My other friend who was driving called him and told him that him and his girlfriend (the other person in the car) were going to the hospital just to get checked out. He told him that's ok he called his doc and was just going to go take a nap. My friend insisted and went and picked him up.

He goes to the hospital and come to find out he had a slight brain aneurism (at least I think that's what he had). Anyway the moral of the story was if he would have taken that nap his brain could have swelled and he would have DIED.

Bro, GO TO THE HOSPITAL. Even if you think it's nothing. All my friend had was a headache.

def go see a doctor. i got in a car accident over the summer. totaled 2 cars. sounds like your accident in a way -- no seatbelt, cracked the windshield with my head, etc. at that time all i had was a sore neck n some cuts on my head. exactly 9 days later i started to get a pain in the middle of my back.. i believe its the muscle that connects the rib cage and the spine. it hurt so bad i couldnt take a full breath, drive a car (couldnt turn the steering wheel or shift into 2nd gear 4th gear and reverse), and sometimes couldnt stand up straight. took a week for the pain to subside enough for me to function properly.

Get your butt to the hospital Mike! My accidents were not as severe as yours but I didn't go immediately after the first one. I went to my doc after that weekend since the pain did not subside. That was August 2001 and I'm still being treated for the trouble with the herniated disc.
