I am cutting, so that obviously restricts my choices. Never really been into the whole blended shakes thing, but I figure why not give it a whirl to break up the monotony of egg whites, tuna and chix. So let's hear some good protein recipes for the blender. I am thinking- 2 scoops chocolate protein powder, 2 tbsp ANPB, a little skim milk. Ice or no ice? :drink2:

With Ice....i do the same thing but sometimes substitute skim milk with 2% and I sometimes add a little equal to it.

I was gonna mention throwin a packet of Splenda in there. What exact amounts of ingredients do you use and on what type of speed do u blend it on? DO you drink immediately or freeze and drink later?

I love a good chocolate mocha frappucino! Yum!!

Ice (can freeze leftover coffee into ice cubes), skim milk, little water &/or leftover coffee or you can use instant espresso powder (gives a better flavor) & chocolate protein powder. Blend & enjoy. The ratios would depend on how milky, frothy, weak, chocolately you want it. It's very good.

I use the "Liqufy" option/speed on my blender. But Jenscat just made me think about the instant coffee idea. Hmmm...i'm ready to blend one up right now!

I like PB and choc. protein with ice and water. Then I add some sugar free pistachio pudding mix into it. Tastes just like pistachio ice cream. Butterscotch pudding mix tastes good too.

I have a shake pretty similar (no milk for me) to this a couple times a week...they ROCK!!

Water, double rich chocolate protein powder, and 2.5 tbsp ANPB - my only meal 6 times a day on the ANPB diet.

Protein powder, banana, ANPB, ice cream, flax/olive oils, some oatmeal - just a giant, calorie-rich shake.

A blender has endless possibilities. For instance, do you have pets?

Two scoops choc. protein, banana, two tbl spoons peanut butter, flax and olive oils, all mixed into skim milk...fantastic...i could live off it...any of the others like this i'm sure are just as good...main thing is to get a recipe you love

Goldfish, kittens, any rodents, gravel, dish soap with a little water, various smaller body parts, meats, insects of various types, etc.

All these are not only healthy but fun to watch spin!

I tried mixing peanut butter with vanilla protein, it was disgusting - and I love peanut butter.

What is splenda?

i use to buy bio-x vanilla protein powder and do this:

1 cup skim milk
1 banana
6 frozen strawberries
2 or 3 ice cubes
a big scoop of protein powder (or was it 2 scoops?.. can't remember, whatever equals about 50grams of protein)

frickin delicious, trust me :)

Do you know why you put a baby in the blender feet first?

So you can see the expression on its face!
