Google Earth Help?

I just downloaded google earth, and I'm pretty dissapointed with appearance. I thought landscapes and buildings would come in much clearer? Not too familiar with it. Anybody pretty savvy with that kind of shit could give me some help, I'd appreciate it. I downloaded the free addition, do you gotta upgrade to get good resolution? I upgraded all my graphics card drivers thinking it was that, I also seem to be meeting all of the minimum requirements CPU wise.

It really doesn't work good enough to stalk ex-girlfriends, sorry. Satellite resolution still has a ways to go.

Not even just enough to get a good look at her house??? Sheeet! :)

Different areas have different satelitte resolutions.

Type in Super Dome, New Orleans, LA and you'll be able to see the roof pretty good.

Yeah I can get something like that pretty decent, until I start to zoom in. I guess all those sample photos are BS. Never thought about location issues!

I think the resolution of most populated areas are amazing, especially for a free version.

You can recognize your car in your driveway.

If you put a address in you'll come pretty close to the house (usually within a house or two), but if you have actual grid coordinates of a property corner and convert it to degrees-minutes-seconds the accuracy is dead on.

I was on a satellite photography site the other week, and I typed in my address, an image of my house came up and there in the driveway was a car that I have not owned for atleast 2 yrs. :worried:
