What do you guys consider the amount of gear per week that is the point that seperates a heavy cycle from a moderate/light cycle?

Lol :D

For non competitive BBers I'd say 1000 mgs is the cut off point. But to some, it's the starting point.

Its expensive enough running 500-800 week not counting supp.& protein!

Depends on how far you are from your "natural" size IMO. I'm probably 30lbs heavier than my body wants to naturally be - so 1g of test is normal for me... and I think that constitutes a pretty heavy cycle.

When you say normal, Im guessing you mean that you need that much to get normal, decent gains. Since you are 30lbs heavier then your body wants to be, then do you believe that you can no longer make good gains on 500mg test/wk? Just curious.

I would say 600-1000 is moderate and like Nelson said unnecassary for non competetive bro's. Anything higher and i feel the possibly health raifications are too great IMO.

I'd say at 1500mgs+ is when cyborg like homo-sapiens are spotted walking down the street. (i.e. heavy cycle)

1000mg's is light (except for newbs).

1000mg's-1500mg's is moderate.

That's a good question - I have run lower doses and I seem to get harder but not much bigger. I don't bulk outrageously, keep my diet pretty clean - and as a result I don't think I would grow at a very high rate at 500mg. At 1g/week, I grow about 1-1.5 lbs/week (I aim to keep about a 500-700 calorie excess running every day - mostly extra protein and fat). 10 weeks, I get 10-15 lbs, and keep 8 or so 2 months later.

I do know that at 300mg of test per week I can maintain my current size (barely). I tried this as a bridge for a couple weeks (I had some surgery done) and it did allow me to keep my size, although I lost a little strength.

I also know from my recent visit with Dr. Carlon Colker that he thinks at my size 1g of test per week is about right (and he says dudes that are WAY more jacked than me - e.g. WWF guys, football players, strongman competitors, etc...).

RADAR, I have the solution to your problem. Cut the supps out, which are not giving you decents gains for you $$$ and spend that money on more gear.

I tend to agree with this.

Why are people so impressed by 1gram of test, like it's a big deal? 500 of Test/400mg of EQ and 25mg of Dbol ed is well over a gram of gear

Hell, the gear is the cheapest part of the equation...I can run a gram of test per week for less than 10 bucks...:D
It's the food that is the wallet killer...

And the supplements!

AMEN TO THAT...Man it's the food and supps that kill your wallet....:(

Dont forget new clothes! On top of all that anti-e's and occational check-ups if not covered by insurance. Damn in the long run its REAL expensive if you think about it!

The supplements i require are a must when running a cycle, milk thistle,ALA,vitimans, etc no bunk stuff!!!!

And what i would like to know is how in hell can you run a gram of test a week for 10 dollars,500-600 will run a hundred easily in 5 weeks!!!!And no i aint gonna use that cheap vet shit!!!
